Even though I got banned by you quite a lot for abusing the rules of this forum, i can never utter such pessimism even if i were an Indian for your country. Your Nation still has shining beacons in the form of Sattar Edhi, Asma Jahangir, Ansar Burney, Pervez Hoodbhoy and pragmatists like Hassan Nisar to guide it. Hope, pray and conserve such voices. My sympathies lie with her family for the candle that she was, and though the flame is extinguished, the light may have been passed on 10 more similar minds.

Perhaps you are right.. perhaps I am being a bit too harsh especially since I was in contact with her family...

What difference will these individuals make?
They are either dismissed as liberals or establishment ponies or extremists by one side or the other.
What can they accomplish? When religion itself has been twisted and distorted for heinous purposes, and these purposes are being furthered by "useful idiots" one copy paste at a time.

Who is the nation? where on this very forum that nation is defined as either Punjabi or Pukhtoon! Or branded Indians to insult them!..Heck even racism runs riot here..

To expect some village simpleton to rise up and change the system, change himself is foolish.

Look at all of us, we are frustrated.. the capital's main road link artery's are blocked every now and then by desperate people who cant cook food,take a warm bath or use a heater because we sucked up most of Balochistan's gas and did not even give them the benefit of that. Who the hell is to blame??
As these very people rushed around to put expensive CNG kits in their cars as it was cheaper and famous.. who cares about where it came from, how it was being used, how long it would last.. QUICK gains.. that is Pakistani mentality.

Pakistan was built as a home for the Muslims of India where they could prosper at the maximum potential, not a place where theycould freely kill each other on the difference of the slightest bit when it came to their religion.
Shia, Sunni.. Barelvi ,deobandi.. this that..
One can keep cursing the US, or the Saudi rulers.. or Israel and India..or our leaders
But it is always going to be us Pakistanis and us along who are responsible for it.
Those that rule us are only as good as we all are collectively.. well look at Gillani,Zardari.. Rehman Malik and everybody else people.. THAT IS YOU.. curse them all you want.. ridicule them.. But that is what you are.. you curse no one but yourself, you hate no one but yourself when you look at them.
