Young boy gets to join PAK army on 23rd March

Young boy named ahsan (i think) was very happy to be given a chance to join Pak army on 23rd March. He got to fire all sorts of infantry weapons and even got to ride a tank. Can anyone post pics. It was on the news earlier. A young girl got a chance to join pak aviation as well

On the 63rd Independence day Master Abdul Basit a 15 year old boy made a history to become soldier of Pakistan Army for a day. The young, patriotic lad, who is suffering from blood cancer had expressed his desire to Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani through an NGO "Make A Wish Foundation" that he wanted to be soldier of Pakistan Army, may be for a day. Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani took special interest and allowed the child to become a soldier for a day and spend time in a unit on the Independence Day of Pakistan.

Master Abdul Basit, though very weak and fragile, because of his ailment put on the uniform like a professional soldier and reported to unit of Punjab Regiment at Malir Cantt Karachi. The young soldier was warmly welcomed at the unit. Later, Master Abdul Basit spent a busy day with officers and men of his unit.

Master Abdul Basit after a day’s work with soldiers said that his life time dream to join Pakistan Army has come true and he cherished every minute spent with the soldiers.

Same thing is happening in various garisons.... sick children being entertained though not all of it is getting publicised...not is the army interested to do so.

And even if they were selling icecream, they would be the top seller, that's the extent of brand loyalty the Pakistan Armed Forces enjoy from the good citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. . How about some trade with neighbors?

Well, India is the one sooo bent upon trade with us, what a travesty of relations!!

PA doesn't need Publicity......they aren't selling Ice Cream here....

PA is a business empire. Also they need to sell themselves, to contrast them with politicians/civilians, so that they keep their grip on power. Not this one, but in regular interval, do expect some "planted" stories by them. Do expect hugely positive stories after every mistake they make.

Most importantly they need to sell themselves to attract new talents.
