1) Been a silent watcher.
2) See from our point of view things look differently. Like in my speciality, I don't give patient attention till he is very serious or condition my become very serious soon. Like for example, a walking/talking patient my not require my intense attention. While unconscious will.
3) Third point: We don't practice medicine just to earn. Any person having this attitude may not survive for long in this field. It is more of passion. There are few motivating factors. The glamour/service/money in that order. Smile on discharged patient's face is the highest form of wealth.
I have seen even the most greedy and blood sucking doctors, do a lot of charity for patients who CAN NOT AFFORD treatment on daily basis

Go to a less busy hospital/clinic. Or exclusive eye care hospitals.

There are many reasons for this according to my personal experience.

Many doctors in public and ERs here in Pakistan have to keep the time short as there is a lot of patients waiting in line. Secondly, these doctors expect continuous visits in a short span of time; while here in the US, you visit your doctor about 1-3 times a year.

Personally, I have never had a problem with doctors in Pakistan. They were quick to diagnose my issues and give me the necessary instructions in fixing it.

I can personally tell you that in Pakistan specialist doctors in Pakistan do not give even 1 minute and 47 seconds as mentioned in this report, to patients. few years back I have to consult neurosurgeons for a surgery and even went to the specialist doctor who operated upon Malala initially and trust me he and his penal of doctors at his private hospitals were giving hardly 40 seconds even to the patients' examination . The waiting rooms were full of patients and I was worried it will take long hours when my turn will come closer but trust me only in few minutes they called my name and when i went in the doctor and his penal straight away said bb you will be put to surgery and thats all no much consultation. just in 30 seconds they said I can go and next patient was called in. It disappointed me and i decided not to get surgery done at his hospital

What can you expect from a surgeon? For them, solution to your illness is surgery only because they are trained to treat people by surgery.
