The rest of the world did try to send aid, but the problem is that providing aid in a war torn country is extremely difficult. Al Jazeera blames the Houthis. Whoever is responsible may not matter. Wars usually result is these things.

That statement by the UN official is just like Madeleine Albright shamelessly saying in a TV interview that the deaths of half a million Iraqi children were worth the 1990-91 war and the subsequent sanctions.

Secondly, the Al Jazeera article does not mention Saudia at all. Saudia is a prime component of the Yemen war. Why is the UNO not pressing upon Saudia to remove itself from the war ?

The article itself says this is the world's worst humanitarian crisis yet only 8.35 billion dollars were spent over five years and this is called "enormous", but USA's military budget for just one year ( 2020- 21 ) is 934 billion dollars ! This is ridiculous ! Is America wanting to kill people more important than saving people in Yemen, including the emaciated boy pictured in the OP ?

This is reuters propaganda. The war won't stop and can't stop period. A terrorist element can't and will not settle in Yemen period. It doesn't matter if every single Yemeni dies. They have no future there period.

If Saudis leave them there they will face backlashes at home due to Houthis rockets and stuff like that could even lead to Bin Salman being usurped by his own ppl in Saudi Arabia and could undermine the entire regions security put it into chaos. This terrorist elements have no future in Yemen since it has the potential to create a bigger casecade of events these gulf rulers are not anticipating from within and from their own populations if you fail to keep your neighourhood safe it can always spillover and force your own population against you due to inactivity and unwillingness to remove it. I would personally sacrifice the entire Yemen to remove them and I am highly against saudis humantarian approach to the war.

I am pretty confident the houthis will not last another 4 years. As the war against them will continue none-stop
