PESHAWAR: A senior Shia lawyer, Advocate Malik Jarar Hussain, was shot dead on Gulbahar Road in Peshawar on Friday morning.

Jarar was dropping his children to school when two motorcyclists intercepted his car on Gulbahar Road and shot him. He was being rushed to Lady Reading Hospital when he passed away.

The attackers managed to flee the area after the incident.

The lawyer was a resident of Gunj inside the walled city of Peshawar, but he was residing in Asad Anwar Colony in Gulbahar.

Members of the Shia community lashed out at the provincial government and police for their failure to provide security.

Two Shia doctors, a police SP and a number of others have been killed in sectarian attacks during the past few months in Peshawar.

Earlier, in January 2013, Lawyers from the district bar association had observed a strike and boycotted court proceedings demanding an action by the government to provide security to the lawyers and arrest the culprits.

three ulema were killed last week, another example of iran sponsored shia terrorism

Blast leaves six dead in lower Orakzai
Zahir Shah Sherazi

PESHAWAR: At least six people were killed Friday in a blast near a security check-post in Kalaya, the agency headquarters of the restive northwestern Orakzai tribal region, officials said.

According to local administration official Fazl-i-Qadir, 15 others were also injured in the remote-controlled bombing, which appeared to target a gathering of the anti-Taliban Ferozkhel tribesmen near the busy Ferozkhel Chowk in Kalaya.

The Ferozkhel tribes, who oppose the Taliban and have also formed anti-Taliban militias, are frequently targeted by the militants.

An army check-post is also located near the site of attack and some officials said it could also be a possible target for the bombing.

The injured were shifted to the agency headquarters hospital and Hangu hospital.

Orakzai is one of Pakistan’s seven semi-autonomous tribal regions in the northwest, where Pakistani Taliban and al Qaeda-linked militants are said to have carved out strongholds.

The agency was the original base of Pakistani Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud before he moved to South Waziristan to take up the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leadership after the death of his predecessor, Baituallah Mehsud.

Unlike the six other tribal agencies, Orakzai does not border Afghanistan. The rugged mountainous territory provides a crucial link for militants operating in other tribal regions, as it borders Khyber and Kurram on the Afghan frontier.

It also borders Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and Pakistan’s main northwestern city, as well as the garrison town of Kohat.

i can smell a wahabi. did you guys have a plan for this September?

About time you decided wtf you are. You try to portray yourself as a logical liberal when you are as radical as a wahabi thug. Iran can send weapons to its allies. We have the money, knowledge and ability to produce every kind of small arms and equipment that our allies need and we will continue to give it to them. The destination for this was obviously Lebanon. Also they only managed to capture a bunch of high powered binoculars and range finders, plus some Misagh manpads and other peanut crap. Why do you think our navy has crossed the Suez 3-4 times in the past few years? The real stuff gets transported on those. There are also transports by air which happen on a very regular basis.

ya no one says u can't export,.... but could u explain what kinda regime would export suicide vests,.....once again u shown the world that u r the terror exporter

Show me pictures of the said "suicide vests"

I'd love to see them

Don't you understand? In Yemen arabs are blowing up left and right in the streets. The govt captures a ship with weapons on it and they then come up with the claim that "suicide vests" were being transported on the ship! The weapons were destined for Lebanon (99.99999%) and there's no such a thing as a suicide vest. Arabs just load up cars with explosives and blow it up when they reach the target. The ones that go for individual targets make their own modified explosives that they can wear on their body.

If Arabs are self sufficient in one technology it's suicide vests. They don't need foreigners to give them anything. As I said, this is just politics. The Yemeni govt is trying to blame the classic "Jews" of the region. Before there were actual Jews here, there were "ajamis" (Iranians). They literally blame even the weather on us. Their toilets clog up they start going ape **** about how the ajamis clogged up their toilets. That's the kind of people they are.

Anyway, self sufficient in suicide bombings, don't need foreigners.
