Yellen says trade deal with China has “hurt American consumers”

;) yeah, with US printing dollars which caused high inflation, they still wanna play this trade war, nice analyse as usual, Mr viet.
As long as USD is international reserve currency there is no concern. Japan prints more money in percentage of Gdp. I don’t see inflation in Japan. I worry more about Erdogan’s money printing. He thinks Turkey is superpower.
Biden will increase pressure on communist leader Xi Jingping. The world is not big enough for two elephants.

US has been given away trillion to its citizen, and remember they don't like saving, you know the rest. ;)

You forget other factors. They pay back the debts. Paying back debts decrease money circulation. They give more money in shops that in turn stimulate production. If goods are more produced, the price will not go higher.
Inflation is caused when there is a lack of products on the markets however that’s unlikely in the US.
Certainly there will be an increase in inflation in certain goods in the US but that’s manageable.

There is a huge contrast difference between US and Germany .
Majority of the Germans are very thrifty . They are almost like East Asian , Keep the money for raining days. Hence they are cash rich.
Whereas in the US, they buy everything using credit card and majority is in debt. That is why see below:

Most Americans don't have savings to cover a $1,000 emergency (cnbc.com)

.
.
So China is simultaneously losing to American justice and hurting Americans at the same time for the same reason depending on what American puppet you listen to. Its never America thats the problem. 🙄

Samsung, Luxshare, Pegatron, tires factories still open 24/24 hours, those companies avoid Covis simply by keeping all workers inside the companies areas. Only some textile factories have to close .

So, no surprise more and more big factories will keep leaving CN to VN to avoid trade war and high labor cost...ah, CN can take back some textile factories if u guys are so desperate for jobs 8-)

tariff work even too well

The US Government is so out of touch with its people.

Biden can't even achieved his "fully vaccinated goal" up till today.

Many have outrightly refused to go for their second shot after the 1st jab.

:sarcastic: :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

it is Biden USA who is desperately trying to arrange a summit between Chinese President Xi and himself at G20.

But the latest commentary from Chinese official media indicated a lack of enthusiasm.

It read that China see no benefits from such a meeting apart from another photo drama. Thst is until Biden team shows more sincerity in handling the real issues affecting their ties.
Actions not words.

Rare earth? Hahahah the machines and electronic and components we sell you. Btw rare earth is not even rare. Lol

Why are you wasting your time with these trolls?
Perhaps you are amusing yourself but it is very trying as they are lacking in histories as well as scientific facts.

The reality:
USA has lost the technology to refine rare earth without creating an environmental disasters otherwise it would have done so.

One man trash is another man treasure.

So far outside of China, only one company Lynas claimed they have. But how come they refuse to dispose the radiactive waste themselves and wanted to ship them back to the country of origin creating political crisis in those nations due to contaminations.
Many local folks have birth deformities as a result.

And another thing is the understanding of rare earth itself.
What type of rare earth do they have? La, Ce, Pr, etc

Rare-earth mining in China comes at a heavy cost for local villages
This article is more than 8 years old
Pollution is poisoning the farms and villages of the region that processes the precious minerals
rare earth china

Health hazard ... pipes coming from a rare-earth smelting plant spew into a tailings dam on the outskirts of Baotou in China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Photograph: David Gray/Reuters

From the air it looks like a huge lake, fed by many tributaries, but on the ground it turns out to be a murky expanse of water, in which no fish or algae can survive. The shore is coated with a black crust, so thick you can walk on it. Into this huge, 10 sq km tailings pond nearby factories discharge water loaded with chemicals used to process the 17 most sought after minerals in the world, collectively known as rare earths.

from the article

“In response to Mr. Trump’s 25% tariff on gasoline and electric cars imported from China, American automakers like Ford have scrapped plans to import cheap cars from their Chinese factories. Chinese automakers like Guangzhou Auto have also abandoned their plans to enter the US market”.

Who says tariffs are not working?

The key in reducing chinese imports lies in finding substitutes in other countries.
The recent hike of chinese exports goods are mostly due to virus crisis in import countries I don’t think that will last.
But the problem is US also tax electronic product from China. They can continue put car tax but why essential products? Are the US government trying to lych it's citizen in critical times?

LoL.. a 2012 article? The mining company already has long upgrade all faculties which are environmental friendly and nearby local village re allocated or compensated already.

Try harder.

It’s a trade war, and as such, it brings death and destruction. What do you expect from a war? Picknick in a chinese bonsai garden?

We know that, don't we? It is the older process and China has been upgrading these mining process.

They wanted the rare earth but at the same time criticizing China. The West cannot have it both ways, understand.

Anyway you have just provided China, the justification they needed or have been saying for age. And they are right.

China has been lowering the production and introducing quota while they upgrade these mines to save the environment but why is Japan, Western Nations so insistent that China must continue to supply to them rare earth.
To the extent it filed a complaint with WTO.

WHatever, u guys still have to sell rare earth till the last ton to VN like another third world nation selling raw materials to factories (Samsung, Pegatron, Luxshare) in VN 8-)
