据消息，今天我国国家重大专项大型军用运输机在位于阎良的试飞院进行了滑行试验。

目击者介绍，今天天气多云，有雾霾。下午约14点10分，被拖出厂房的大运开始热身为滑行试验作准备。
约14点30左右顺利完成不到两圈的低速滑行试验。

随后经过一段时间的准备，被拖回厂房。

根据网友从航班信息以及现场出现多种战机来猜测，今天应该有中航相关领导和军方人士到现场观看。


Y-20 did taxi tests today. Went around the taxi field a few times and returned to the hangar.

The M1A2 weights 67.6 short tons, or about 60 metric tons.

Y-20 is designed to carry around 60 tons, so I guess the answer is no. However it would be enough to carry medium tanks like T-96, and maybe T-99 depending on the version.

The M1A2 weights 67.6 short tons, or about 60 metric tons.

Y-20 is designed to carry around 60 tons, so I guess the answer is no. However it would be enough to carry medium tanks like T-96, and maybe T-99 depending on the version.

Obviously, PLAAF's requirement would be to airlift T-99 variants. So the answer is "yes" it can carry tanks like M1A2 Abrahms.

no harm to be skepitcal, besides we still havent heard anything potent about the domestic engines for that plane```10 years probably we need to develop engines like F117-PW-100 used on C-17

it is sad, but maybe realistic, we still need 10 years for high quality engine, as development of industry, especially the manufacturing equipment, the bottleneck will be broken, I think the government have knew the importance of engine, and put it to strategic industry, it is a big strategic blunder that not do this before, and now we are paying for these.
