Can a migrant worker receive pensions from Beijing if he work in Beijing for more than 10 years? Or is it tied to Hukou?

No idea how it works in Beijing, but I heard that even some foreigners can enrol their parents into local social security fund in Shenzhen.

more than 10 years or less than 10 years question
I believe Shenzhen is one of few cities in China where hukou is more or less meaningless for a financially self sufficient person. You have pretty much every living convenience for reasonable money: private hospitals, access to public housing (if you really want,) insurance better than public, private schools, unconditional child registration, and even pension without hukou.

The mayor of a city will certainly give priority to all the resources of the city to the largest group in the city.

Not 12.5, more like 20m+. And China Mobile even says that they got 25m+ from cellphone statistics.

I have two cellphone number, that does not have any meanings actually!
My father has worked in Jiaxing嘉兴, Zhejiang Province for 3 years now,and he is still using the cellphoen number of my hometown in Suzhou宿州,Anhui. And I know people who has 7 cellphone number for himself.

I don't understand why there are always people who say that there are 20 million people in Shenzhen, and the official data is only 12.5 million.
Westerners and Westernized Hong Kong people want to say: Shenzhen's achievements are nothing remarkable, Shenzhen's success is because of more people?

According to official data, there are 4.72 million people in my city in Changzhou. So, Changzhou, as a developed city in China, should actually have 8 or 9 million people?

2)Or because of 12.5 million people, Shenzhen's per capita GDP is 29,000 US dollars. If it becomes 25 million people, Shenzhen's GDP is only 14,500 US dollars. Is such a value more acceptable for the Westerners and Westernized Hong Kong talents??

I lived in 10M+ cities, and can say that Shenzhen definitely have more people than anything close to 10M, and 20M measure sounds more believable. I've been in and out of Shenzhen for a long time, and started coming for longer stays around 2016. I plan to move there permanently this year, if the situation with my employer avail that.

Ma Xinrui, did a headcount with professional demographers few years ago, and their estimate also came close to 20M.

Hong'ers are actually coming to SZ to live and work these days, and some genuinely look up.

As for Westerners, most don't even know of this city's existence. And as for Chinese... I actually hear that "sentiment" more frequently from them.

What's wrong with employing a lot of people? Is factory work a "dirty work?" Nobody else in the world does so well in manufacturing, and Shenzhen keeps rocking even after mass demolitions of 2010-2012.

China owes way, way more to that generation of people that risked everything to come from rural areas to work in factories in the South, than to fat, overentitled bankers and bureaucrats from BJ and Shanghai.

What's wrong if it was so? Everybody gets just so much as labour market makes possible. And moreover, experienced factory workers these day make more than average "service industry" workers.

Shenzhen's official median income was around CNY 9700 a year ago. An experienced general labourer with 5+ year experience can easily get 15000 if he has some technical training. If he knows stuff like how to program CNC machines, ovens, or robots, it'll be quite more than that. At CNY15000, an experienced factory employee salary is actually higher than China's average software developer's salary, not so small at all.

And there are certainly less factory workers these days than people in service industry. Factory workers need to eat and have a living too after all...

Guangdong Province has only 111.7 millions people by the way!

Sure,Shenzhen actually has 30 millions population with a GDP per capita 10500 USD,just a little bit above the average GDP per capita of China overall , why not!

Whatever number makes you happy bro.

I have now two appartment in China, one in Wuxi City,Jiangsu Province, with a 94.25 sqm (1 million yuan RMB) and the other one in Changhzou City,Jiangsu Province, with a 80.25 sqm(0.9 million yuan RMB) ,and 85% of Hong'ers can only dream them, and I am only 30 years old this year.

My father and mother are poor peasant people with zero education certificate and me with PHD.

PHD with China communist party membership.

I guess i am a fake man to you.

And I can assure you Shenzhen has no more than 14 millions people beleive it or not!

. .
Otherwise,if Shenzhen has no GDP per capita of more than 25000USD, how on earth the CHina overall has 9800 USD per capita???

Explanation look very simple to me, and more sound to my knowledge of average incomes across China (I work close to manufacturing) : labour market was going further inland for many years, and salaries are getting equalised. Plain economics here.

Just curious, how can you tell from your own personal experience whether it's 10m or 20m though? It feels more crowded?

I'm of the view that Shenzhen has around 20m people as well.

1) Many official estimates put the effective population at 20m.
2) Number of official workers in Shenzhen are comparable to Shanghai.
3) It's unlikely that SZ's GDP per capita is 50% more than Beijing/Shanghai when average wages are lower.
