Xi replies to daughter of Uygur patriot, stresses ethnic unity

Disagree. There are officially 56 ethnic groups, they are all citizens of PRC regardless of culture, religion, customs or ethnicity. Cultural diversity in any civilization - China included - should be respected, even treasured.
Tell the truth and people think you are weak. :) I like what you said, this is the only way you can gain love and respect from every single minority groups and live in harmony. Kudos!

Culture is not a static thing. Its dynamic. Some will decline, some will vanish, some will develope and adapt.
The final solution of China is not to gain respect of every single 1000 Minorties, China should develope further to be a full unified identification of a Chinese Nation. This is the best way to maintain peace and harmony.

I disagree with the views by scherz, but I didn't like the way you came down on him like you were about to fight the evil Chinese communist again.
He should be happy that i didnt answer the way he deserved, lets say i that i dont go down to his troll-level
Whats with this comment?
''If this wont happend we should push them to turkey.''

Who is he sending from who's country and why to my country?

Sure culture evolves, that's natural, but what's definition of "unified identification"? Even within Han, Sichuan loves spicy food but Shanghai like sweet stuff, shall China unify national taste of food to maintain peace and stability? A Suzhou guy likes Kun opera, I die for progressive trance, someone in Guangzhou likes Canto-pop, how to unify?

How US assimilates peoples from all over the world into their main stream culture? China can do the same, it needs time and money. And education for the young is the key.

Uyghurs are not people from all over the world, they are a part of the 56 ethnicities in China, they are indigenous.
The ethnicities in the US have kept their own culture, what assimilation are you talking about?
China-town,Little Tokio,Korea-town what do all these names tell you?
What you need to do in China is to follow an inclusive policy and punish all the discrimination, hatred, racism by Han Chinese towards minorities so that those minorities dont seek refuge in religious extremism.
A perfect example is the Chinese community on this forum,at least half of them are racists(from their posts).
The Uyghurs were never Muslim extremists,,something must have caused their radicalisation, find out what it is and problem solved.
And blaming my country for supporting all those Ninjas(Muslim extremists) is a big joke which the mature Chinese members know already.

Uiygür Tribes sure loves to live with their brothers in turkey. I am sure you have enough space there after kicking out Kurds. You once accomplished kicking out greeks and armenians.

Today, if you ask an Uigur Minority what his identity is, the person will answer you: "i am Uigur, i am not chinese".
With accomplishing the total unification the answer would be: "i am of chinese nationality".
Do you understand?

Im sure you dont even know why.

You want to justify your ridiculous statements by posting such fantasies.
''I am Uyghur,I am not Chinese''
Why would he say ''i am not Chinese'' when he says ''i am Uyghur''?
You are funny.

They should not only accept our culture, they should be "sinozed" to ensure long term harmony and peace.

The understanding is, neither they should identify themself as minority nor be favoured over han chinese. Every one in china should be treated equally as one nationality.

If this wont happend we should push them to turkey.

There is unity in diversity...everyone is fond of their color and wants to preserve it..the idea you have stated can set China upto trouble as it is a tried and tested formula of failure by soviet union..

@Shotgunner51 ,your government knows exactly who is behind the extremism in your country but because of your business relations with them ,your government cant name them so the Turks get blamed and only for showing sympathy to the Uyghurs.
Interests before everything.

Only showing sympathy? LOL, yeah right.

Turkey has provided passports to Uighur terrorists in order to send them to Syria for jihad.

Can't yet, at least not now. Beijing fully tracks all fund flowing into and out of the nation, especially so-called NGO accounts, can even track fund transfer between offshore proxy accounts (false flag accounts), you know what I mean. There is a reason why anti-Beijing movement, again packaged in the name of "separatist", shifted largely to Xinjiang after funding channels to Tibet were cut off.

Wrong, at least it's obviously not the case with the lady Xi visited.

And definitely not the following gentlemen ...
untitled-png.326811

And actually I have asked some Uyghur friends in Shanghai.
How many have you asked?
My chinese fellow, you are deep in chinese propaganda. No minority has the stupidty to deny their enforced chinese nationalty infront of an official, not to mention infront of lady xi... their consequence would be not only losing all their benefits, but also their life in extreme case maybe.
I live in a town where lots of Urygurs are living. They see themself as Urygurs. 100 Percent.

And why did we kick the Greeks and Armenians out?

Turks want make Turkland great again -> Ottoman Empire.

Thats true my friend. But that doesnt mean, we should give up figuring out how to solve it. We can learn from failure and do it better.

I support Beijing (mostly, I am critical on their macro-financial policies), but what propaganda? Try image search, that's my original created picture, first appear here on PDF on August 18th 2016, post #12, https://defence.pk/threads/china-says-seeks-closer-military-ties-with-syria.444646/#post-8584782

And they are THE officials, among many Uyghurs who have served (or still serving) in regional governments, PRC central government, even statesmen in central legislative organisation (National People's Congress).

P.S Reminder to all members: Do not get personal, stay on topic.

The irony is that none of the Turks posting in thread give a damn about the rights of the Kurds lol.

You really are an ignorant person, however, I shouldn't be surprised since you live in Kuwait which is a tiny speck of land inhabited by arrogant people. Do you know what the rest of the Arab world thinks of your country? Before pointing fingers at other why don't you reflect on your own faults.

Kurdish people who live in Turkey and who are law abiding citizens face no problems. But groups like the PKK deserve to be punished and eradicated for killing innocent people.
