I do realize that Sushma ji and her Russian counterpart have been busy interacting, even prior and leading up to this visit.

My question was more to do with Modi ji's high octane top level interactions with the premiers of the other significant countries. Modi - Putin bromance seems conspicuous by its absence. Till now.

Because,No Country is that foolish to Send its Premier to the hosting nation,while invading the same host nation territory all this happened when the Meeting was taking place.They wanted to play from a dominant position (Like Chess)and see if Modi stands up or wilts under pressure.
They can't expect us to close our eyes and act as nothing happened when they routinely venture into India's Territory along with arming Pakistan against us and surrounding us with their "String of Pearls" Strategy,while talking sweet niceties to us in BRICS and other forums.

I would say no country other the Chinese apparently would 'test' anything like invading the sovereign territory of the host country, causing an international incident, while they are invited guests. It is beyond stupidity to sabotage your own visit when you seek to better the ties with a country.

I tell you; not a single foreign policy analyst has figured out what has to be the dumbest diplomatic move by a country.
