WW3 -- US to remain the sole Superpower

I would like to think that this scenario is impossible. However I watched a documentary on chanel 4 or 5 a couple of days ago that showed that the americans had made extensive preparations to attack the brits and destroy the brit empire in 1935. The programe also went on to say that it was the first occasion that one empire on decline had not clashed with another empire on its way up.

I think that in the next 5 to 10 years the american economy will collapse started by a crisis on the reserve currency status of the dollar. It is at that time american govt will have to decide whether to fall gracely and expect the new world order or whether to launch a third world war.

I hope all our region acts together notwithstanding border issues we have.

Yes, USA will definitely launch a war! In fact, World War 3 could happen as soon as next year. After the Taiwan election is over (January) and the People's Congress is over, China will attack Vietnam by air, sea and land to establish dominance in our South China Sea.

USA will watch how China's war with Vietnam goes and decide whether or not to launch World War 3 against China.

USA will try to make India cannon fodder against China like the original post said so that China will have to use up part of its 3600 nuclear weapons stockpile on it so there would be less remaining for countries like Japan, South Korea and USA.

I don't think this will happen, as someone already said countries are too interconnected. If it will happen then I think that the war will be over energy as oil becomes more scarce.

If the US does start a world war then I think that it will do so without its European allies, we've had quite enough world wars thankyou.

Pakistan is too tiny to think even as threat. Pakistan won't even survive for a day, When India retaliates with full power. In Nuke, Game will be over in an hour.
