Many Sindhi Hindus (1947 partition refugees) of the generations as recent as those who were 19-20 years of age in 2008 wish to return to Sindh. It's certain that later generations also has many such people.

P. S.: I had to make a clarification-emphasis because a member misinterpreted the post. By Sindhi Hindus I don't mean those who are currently in Pakistan or those who migrated after 2000. I mean the descendants of those Sindhi Hindus who came to India in 1947 in the wake of partition riots violence.

Sons of the soil would be welcomed back with open arms. They would have to have evidence of their Pakistan nationality. I know some Sindhi Hindus great patriotic people.

Did you get the question? See above. How can they have Pakistani citizenship if their grandparents have been living in India since 1947?

1947 partition refugees

What kind of refugees get land and political patronage?

There is so much land involved in this pandora box, that you can easily fight for another 1000 years as long as water is allowed to flow

Here is your answer

http://www.dgip.gov.pk/Files/Immigration.aspx#:~:text=Citizen by Birth:,1951 is citizen of Pakistan.

Citizen by birth might not apply anymore but there are other ways.

Recents are welcomed. Those who left in 1947 though made their side clear. But those who left due to oppression, and injustice will be more than welcome.

Honest question, not rhetoric; Why do they want to come to Pakistan?, a land their grandparents left. Would they assimilate into the culture? what do they plan to do in Pakistan? Do they just want to visit the homes of their ancestors and pray at the temples of their forefathers, or do they want to stay and try to become citizen; renouncing citizenship and allegiance to India.

Their is always a risk some would come to spy on Pakistan, and hence the hesitation to let anyone in. If the two counties could resolve the issues between them, especially Kashmir, Indo-Pak Relations could one day reach a point where Indian tourists would be swarming the historic sites of the Indus Valley civilization and traveling through Pakistan to Iran and Afghanistan, as originally intended at the time of Partition.

India has a lot to gain, and in all honesty not much to lose by letting Kashmir go. It’s a burden on India’s national psyche and is dragging India into a dark place of intolerance and self harm. An independent Kashmir would still have good relations with India because it will still need the tourism income, and India could move on to focusing on national development.

And the need to ask questions like “Could a Hindu Sindhi return to Pakistan?” would be as moot as the thought of any limitations in a Frenchman visiting Frankfurt or a German visiting Ghent in Belgium is today.

NO.

Their loyalty is suspect. They might very well be indian agents trained to carry out terrorism, and espionage in Pakistan.

Why should we do that ? i mean its not about Hindus or Muslims but i think any person from any other country just because of his religion should not be allowed the citizenship. BTW Pakistan is not India and we don't have any grudge against any particular religion, so ur country's dirty tactics won't work here in our Country. U can take anyone who wants to go ur country on the basis of religion but we won't be doing that.

One who betrays the motherland no matter what the circumstances are is a traitor and would always remain a traitor.
We would never take them back.
I used to be very anti refugee. Later I turned a soft spot and wanted to regularise or legalise them in some way so that those who abide the law can live peacefully.
But for those traitors who leave the country, bad mouth it and hides among the enemy's rank are the worst.
