Would Nawaz Sharif be more assertive if he gets relected in 2018?

Do you think Civilian power will increase in PAK with successive elections?

What has winning an election got to do with having power over military! What kind of power did he get by winning the last election and what would change in 2018?

Its not successive elections that give power to public but strong institutions. Fair and free election is only enabled with efficiency of institutions like Election commission, FBR,NAB, NADRA and Judiciary which we dont have.

So i have voted No

China would back the Pakistani army in case of civil-military dispute

this time army wont come in but we have a third force.i hope this time its succesfull

Opposition wont let him breath...!
Specially Imran Khan he don't even allowing Nawaz to complete it current tenure.!

I think PMLN is winning and shahbaz shareef will be next PM and Army will be quite happy, if we look at the history army generals feel more comfortable under PMLN/nawaz regime when compared to PPP rule. Army always enjoys good relations with PMLN rather than with PPP, MQM, ANP or any other parties. As far as bureaucracy is concerned their structure is very ethnically designed in such a way that no other parties can win election except PMLN.

Idiot Khan is not suitable for the military establishment at all. This knucklehead will definitely go head on against the vested interests of the establishment and then the military would have to set him straight.

Hypothetically, Idiot Khan will only remain a PM for six months maximum as the COAS will not tolerate his crap longer than this. On the other hand, after what this chawal khan has been doing, he cannot expect the opposition to be soft on him. PML-N will tear him a new one.

In addition, social media bloggers may keep on thinking that this cricketer buffoon is popular, Nawaz will win in 2018 nevertheless. Idiot Khan was more popular in cyber space in 2013, yet he lost miserably.

The army is not pro-US at all.
Yes except from taking up all of the money coming in Aids and CSF, they are not pro-US at all

That would be only natural, that is what they would most likely want to do, more assertive and more harsh with the opposition, don't know if sharif brothers have changed much as compared to the past, but that is what the overall nature of N-league remains. As for the army, it doesn't effect them much in terms of setting straight the politicians if need be, the reason being that even do people elect them to rule, it's not like that they are dying in love for them, common people don't care for the politicians as such, they rather have a better relation with the army in that regard.
An ideal scenario would be , where sharif's take the federal govt but somehow loose provincial assembly of punjab to pti, and all of them, N-league , pti and army live in harmony for the better of Pakistan . . . . .. . . forever :D
Just one question, who would he be able to win the center after losing out in Punjab? given the status quo prevails in other three provinces as well?

civilian power will never increase pakistan till the the time the civilian govts remove the traitors from their ranks. majority of the civilian politicians in pakistan are the most shameless, corrupt people ever known to mankind so much so they can divide the country if they have to for their seat. example is of 71. the recent reports about the rift between military and civil govt and the pathetic remarks at this particular moment regarding the military by the information minister exactly show what is the mind set of the ruling and the most popular party in pakistan regarding her military when the military is fighitng at the borders. mullah diesel openly "bakwased" against the zarb e azab. same is the case with achakzae. shemale bhutto used to call nawaz as ghadar and suddenly he/ she is calling him uncle nawaz and uncle fazal and is ready to sleep with altaf again. so these people have no "deen iman". "gadhay ko be baap bana saktay hain ya" .ANP has successfully failed the kalabagh project. zardari and the famous scandal involving the haqqani showed his patriotism.
the only solution to this problem is to call a full session of the parliament . when all the pakistani zionists gather in it including the PM and the president call an air strike and demolish the parliament to the ground. make coal and oil from their bones and use it in automobiles so that even their DNA ceases to exist.

Then, to a hushed but surprised room, Mr Chaudhry suggested that while China has reiterated its support for Pakistan, it too has indicated a preference for a change in course by Pakistan. Specifically, while Chinese authorities have conveyed their willingness to keep putting on technical hold a UN ban on Jaish-i-Mohammad leader Masood Azhar, they have questioned the logic of doing so repeatedly.
And today Chinese kept their word, but it seems true that they would question, "for how long" part since India seems relentless.

I predict martial law by the end of next month.

Amen to that.. :police:

I would like Democracy to flourish in Pakistan however not the Pmlnocracy or elected amalgam of mediocrity +nepotism and monarchy. Totally inept. I am a Punjabi myself but stupid and imbecile politics of PMLN are disgusting. I think even MQM has more capacity to perform than PML N and the buffoon, vindictive NS.

The worst part is there is no substitute. PTI with its immaturity and volatility. Army rule we all know what it leads to. We are unfortunately going to be stuck with Nihari chugging 'Haigaas'

I predict martial law by the end of next month.

Amen to that.. :police:
Military establishment pre empts. They plan for ahead. The Dawn News fiasco was last nail in coffin. I bet NS has been classified as 'enemy' . that Dawn News story did for India propaganda machine what Billions of dollar didn't. Cyril Almeida the oversmart with his verbosity will be caught up in the crossfire. He totally deserves it.

What a misfortune this country will have if one the crooks, Sharif or Zardari, get re elected for another tenure.

It will be misfortune that will not be coincidence but brought totally upon ourselves by us. It will reinforce the concept that nation gets its leaders that it deserves, that we are a nation of crooks and duplicity and hypocrisy is our nature.
