Indian netizens don't represent official GoI stance just like Pakistani netizens don't represent GoP stance. I just asked for one tiny shred of evidence to back up your unsubstantiated claim and you've failed miserably so far.

Does it really bother you that much that GoI appears unfazed by POTUS's comment? Does it really bother you that India follows an independent foreign policy and isn't affected by the whims of greater powers?

This is what really happened:
- Trump made silly comment
- Pakistanis on PDF went into frenzy mode and started claiming this as a major diplomatic victory
- GoI denied it asked for mediation from Trump
- Trump is now offering mediation

It is not a silly comment. Its a massive moral boost to freedom fighters that their movement has recognition from international players and that too a player of the heft USA. This is Indian foreign policy failure. Consequences will be on streets.

Such provocation wouldn't serve you at all. Call it Indian Media now to save face like blaming others as always or be it the Modi Clouds; India is famous for twists. Have you anything to discuss then carry on or if your intention is merely to derail and provoke; then treat this is an open warning.

Like I said, I am glad Pakistanis are happy with Trump's words. Although personally, I would say UNSC resolutions and international court rulings in favor of India are more substantial diplomatic victories than empty words, but I guess that is just a personal opinion. I am happy that Pakistanis are satisfied with this "victory,". Because with victories like these, who needs defeats?


And that is all. Pakistan's dreams of internationalizing Kashmir have fallen apart yet again, as Trump clearly clarified in his own words that he will mediate only if India wants it.

Eh? Are you dumb or burying your head in the sand? Trump categorically repeated an offer of THIRD PARTY MEDIATION, which for India is a red line, as your own ministers have said.

As expected of Trump. He has a big filthy mouth but no credibility to his words. I am laughing at the Pakistanis who were expecting something huge out of his statements, few even started loving him from the core of their heart.

How did that "mediation" work out for you, Pakistanis? Trump was bluffing when he said Modi asked for mediation, he just wanted to appease pak so it plays a bigger role in the Afghan Peace process. The fact that he tactically withdrew his claim of Modi asking for mediation should have been a sign that the US had given India the green light to withdraw article 370, but of course Pakistan fell for it. Its goal of internationalizing Kashmir failed yet again.
