India is already a Western colony, so its only a matter of time before US has military bases in India. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to hear in the future the US already has secret bases in India.

India did worked for the reforms in the UNSC and this only has led to the expansion of UNSC non permanent members for the term of 2 years. Majority of UN member countries do support India's UNSC Permanent seat bid .

I remember reading somewhere India was ready to provide bases post 9/11 in case Pakistan refused.
Technically meaning India providing base for US, for operations against Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Actually that was an intelligent move by Indian government by offering bases to US troops for taking action against Taliban which forced Pakistanis to offer bases as well as intelligence output.. Looking at whats happening at Pakistan after that, it was a master stroke..
