I agree the Indian flag looks fantastic imposed on Burj Khalifa - manifesting the great brotherly relations between United Arab Emirates and India. This will be complimented with Arab soldiers and Indian soldiers together marching past on Rajpath, New Delhi thus displaying the deep love between Arabs and Indian's.

Pakistani's not to worry. Truth be told the Arab's really love us more but they like two timing.

And there is no need for 'Burnol' whatever that is. The fact that GCC favours India has been open secret to all of us with functioning brain. This event merely 'exposes' the reality. FACT: India gains far more in $$$$ then Pakistan does from GCC. In this world talk is cheap. The saying 'put your money where your mouth' comes to mind. Well GCC has always put the money where their mouth is > India.

Whereas they bought out few Pak ruling elites and hired few contract soldiers to do their dirty work on the secret and made few dole payments making Pak look like a begger. Pakistani's ever the muppets with the ummah songs ringing in their ears expanded their chests and spat out statements like 'We shall defend GCC with our blood'.

Sure !

#Republic Day, #Burj Khalifa
India TV News Desk, Dubai [Published on:25 Jan 2017, 18:38:23]

Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, would light up tonight in tri-colours - saffron, white and green - to mark the 68th Republic Day of India.

"Tonight we celebrate Indias 68th Republic Day with a spectacular LED illumination of the Indian National flag on #BurjKhalifa! #India," the official Twitter account of Burj Khalifa tweeted in both English and Arabic languages.

The visual expression of the tri-colours underlined the solidarity of the UAE and its people with India, with which the nation shares strong cultural and trade ties.

At 828 metres (2,716.5 ft), the 200 plus storey Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building in the world.. Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the UAE.

What makes this year's celebrations even more special is Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is attending the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi as chief guest .

If I could, I would grab the Pakistani's who sing songs about these GCC people by the neck and drag them to the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi, India to see the Arabs marching and saluting Modi Jee. Then I would grab and to see Burj Khalifa emblazoned with the flag of their enemy India in heart of UAE.

And I know their apologists are going to consult the book of 101 excuses like 'oh it's only a parade' - ignoring that it means a lot. When few Russian soldiers trained in Pakistan (let alone march down Islamabad on Defence Day) half of Pakistan was in state of sexual climax.

The other excuse will be 'oh we did not send soldiers to Yemen'. Right so how many soldiers has India sent to Yemen or how many wil she send? Zero. In short Pakistan has to spill blood of it's jawans for these GCC people to accord respect?

But India gets the full Modi Jeee treatment free of cost while also enjoying having the largest number of Indians employed in GCC and making sending huge remittances to India.

At least this event might shake a few Paks into getting their thinking cleared out. I have been saying this for years at PDF but got constantly rebuked.

We have put some bucket of water and BURNOL at the international border, kindly consider it as an Aid and use it wherever applicable.:rofl:
LOL but why there is no official statement by any Pakistani government authorities regarding this..Like indians used to do..Don't put money on burnol instead arrange food for soldiers.:(

Garam roti and salan is much needed at your side for soldiers rather then icecream..Believe me no Pakistani is against this..I would say i am happy to see this.Only those who don't know how world moves around can mourn on this.

Pak government will do this (below) like it does usually when something like this happens. Think after OBL raid.

*If Pakistani's learns a lesson from this - about something called 'self interest' then this event might be a great thing but question is will Pakistan introspect and learn from this?

"states have no friends and no permanent enemies" just shifting demands of "self interest".

I respect Indian flag and Indian flag looking good on that building.
But for UAE, why you are acting like this? Did we tell UAE guys to send their zero meter soldiers ti Yemen?
What I, being a Pakistani, am feeling is : UAE is over reacting.

And our friend @Saif al-Arab will be looking at this picture and thinking the guy on the right "is he MENA or Indian". To my eyes he looks more Indian then Modee Jee himself.
