Yes you are right, you are talking about Mr. Azim Premji's father but pakistanis are confusing and thinking as ur talking about jinnah's father.

Actually after some googling, it turns that he indeed is the worlds richest muslim businessman. Self made billionaire.

On a side note, Jinnah begged his father to move to Pakistan after partition and he flatly rejected him. His foresight of what Pakistan would devolve into is amazing. Unlike the the other Indian billionaires builidng private skyscrapers and having 300 luxury car parking garages, Mr. Premji has a conscience. He is the Bill Gates of Asia.

Thank you for highlighting the FACTS. And most of all, I like your chracterisation of Azim Premji as "He is the Bill Gates of Asia." It is very apt simply because Azim Premji is a modest self-effacing self made successful billionaire, who has not hesitated to think and put his money where his mouth is. Any debate on whether he is "the richest muslim in the world" (which he happens to be) is redundant and meaningless. Unlike the assorted Saudi Princes et al. he has worked legitimitely to earn his wealth and he is attempting to use it in a meaningful manner; while maintaining an exemplary life-style at all times.

Can the same be said about the afore-said Saudi Princes?????
