You never see a government so corrupt, an army so incapable and the gangsters so unscrupulous as you see in this pinoy disaster!

even the indians are better!

What's sad was the slow response. Compare to the 2008 Sichuan Earthquake, which had a larger death toll, the government was too slow to react quickly. We don't have enough C-130s. In fact, only 2 are active. Also, the deployment of soldiers wasn't much. When I was watching the news, all I saw was a small group of soldiers helping, not a lot.

Anyway, many people didn't listen to the warnings, and as a result, many died. Also, lots of people care so much about their own homes. Sad.

There are a number of failures so far as shown through this disaster out of which the government is culpable:

1. early warning and evacuation
2. the rampant looting
3. the poor and slow distribution of food, water, medicine and temporary shelters
4. the clean up, burial for the deceased before spreading of infectious diseases

May the Pinoys go through this pain quickly and lots of condolences from us!
