This was not just Pakistan's First computer virus , It was actually THE WORLD' FIRST COMPUTER VIRUS.
How Pathetic are you ?
When was the last time you or your work was featured as a Cover page for Times Magazine ?
Dude computers were around a lot longer than 1986 and so have viruses. The thing that made Brain notable was that it was the first MS-DOS virus to infect millions of computers worldwide. That's what gives it fame. It's not that it was "the first ever virus". More like it was first ever MS-DOS worldwide virus.
Here's a list of some other "notable" virus infections.
Obviously these are not the ONLY viruses that were released they are just ones that gained attention.

You are the one jumping up and down about the "worlds first computer virus". Are you like 14 years old or something? Apple computers were notorious for being easily infected with a virus and minicomputers too.
This is the cover for that Time magazine article and notice it says "viruses" and yes they were interviewed..but the article was not just about their virus.
A link to the New York Times article that mentions the Brain virus.

However here's one at around the same time talking about the latest idiot student writing something causing huge problems on ARPANET - and yes it is NOT an MS-DOS virus.
