World War in Asia?

Viet politicians and her people are divided, some hate China, some hate US and some hate their own commies. It'd be useless to deny the facts.

However, most Chinese don't care about Viets, don't want to know Viets and not mentioning hatred. In Chinese media you only find Vietnam from tourist or marriage ads. Sorry to say to your dirty nationalist hawks: viet girls are welcome to China and they don't seem to have problems to marry poor Chinese boys who can't afford a Chinese mate...

Same applies to China and Chinese, just replace Vietnam by China:

Actually China is seen as the least favorite nation by Vietnamese. Most Vietnamese are interested for Taiwan, Korea or Japan, China is seen as very nagative. There is rarely any report about China in Vietnamese media. I think Vietnam should rather seek a closer tie with Samoan islands than China.

cann't agree. Do not take articles from internet as your source. Some chinese do criticise VN with prejudice, so u may see many articles on the internet that abuse Vn (also many countries like the US, Japan and india). These years many articles and books are published to introduce the advantage of many countries like india, phlipine and Vietnam. many people are research and learn from you, but they will never post any articles on any website with a title like "great vietnam with great people" or "god bring hope to china from vietnam", right? What if it was, you people never pay attention on those articles also.
On the other hand, people in many countries do the same thing, don't you?
negative articles are more popular, you can read them in the western newspapers, soon you can find a dozen.

Actually Vietnam as a whole always wants to maintain a good relationship with China, in bad and good times. History proves that. We never attack China, we always act on self-defence. It was always China, who attacked and intimidated Vietnam. To undertand part of the Vietnamese foreign policy, one may take a look at the world map: unlike Japan or Philippines, Vietnam has a land border with China, that makes us very vulnerable. If Vietnam was an island nation, it would act more aggressively toward China.

As per western media, China is a predominant topic today and mostly seen as very negative, while Vietnamese controlled media report balanced views on China.

Going back to the topic "World War in Asia?" I predict, if the current territoral disputes go out of control and a war breaks out, either China or America would fire first. As for Vietnam we will never start a war.
