if the world does not force india to slow its population growth, the human species will die off as these indians will steal all our natural resources.

india and africa are the biggest cause of population growth.
its time the world put sanctions on these nations unless they introduce population control policies.

India Population is set to overtake China, however we will alter the One Child Policy still India Population will exceed china, africa combined has over 1 billion people sanctions aren't the answer, a combination of condoms, Birth Control pills and some government policy will be required as for India the government said if the population wasn't under control then development would be unsustainable.

Dude just bcs more people are working in a field, it will not produce more. Its called over employment or under utilization of human resources. I think you are aware of the fact that 70% of the earth is water and in the 30% land about 1/3rd is said to be desert(both hot & cold).So in the end we are left with 2/3rd of land on which we have to live, work, establish industries and grow crops to the evergrowing population and at the same time sharing our living space with the different species of animals & birds both big and small. So...no, we are not in a position to support a booming population unless we find a way to live and farm the oceans.

We can debate about this forever, but there is a marked difference b/n us in the way we perceive population growth and that is mainly religious in nature.

My POV is just not mainly religious(though it has a lot influence). Just take an example of ur country. At the present stage of your development level ur country would be insignificant with say a 100 million population.

Population itself is not a curse. Its what the population do makes it good or bad for human beings.

UK, Germany,US etc has much less population than us, but better off than us in all sectors. According to me, a country should only have an optimum population not equal to or greater than what the land can support. For example in India a passenger bus has a minimum crew of 2, while under optimum conditions it can be run with just the driver.

That because they improved their human resources instead of trying to spend their energies in curbing their population.

My and ur approach is completely different u are trying to curb which is natural(look whats happening to the Chinese) while suggest not try to stop what is natural but to make our population productive. Everybody in the world has 2 hands to work and a brain to think there is no reason they would starve if they use them.

And BTW not any super power in modern times has little population US,Soviets,Chinese and if u becomes a power in future.
