there sure is not. Mexico border town, even with the shootings and violence, is relatively safe compare to an average place in India. Of course there are places in India that are safer than US-Mexican border. But these are not the "average" places in India.

The thing is that: you hate India and that makes you say these things, but you should visit India before you comment on both situations. As I said: no comparison.

It is the other way, As I said these drug cartels maintain street gangs on US streets. Though these street gangs they control US market.

It depends on the coast and then the area the gang is in. If you are hispanic and live on the west coast then the gangs around you are either aligned with the Nuestra familia or La eme depending on whether they are in Northern part of the coast or Southern. That is because the NF and la eme control the prisons so if you are a gang member and get locked up you will be forced to choose a side or be killed inside lockup, that in turn gives these prison powers influence on the streets while they are all behind bars. Now if you are black you either align with the bloods gang or the crips who are themselves aligned with the prison gang Black guerrilla family mainly due to threat of racial violence inside prison. Then there is the Aryan brotherhood for whites lol.

East coast is a different ball game it used to be run by the Italians and their mafias but they were weakened by the feds greatly and their influence is smaller than ever before, then you have the Russian Mob which is up there and you got the eastern Bloods and Crips along with the Latin Kings who represent the Latinos. You also got the Aryans brotherhood on the east coast as well.

Anyway my point is the Mexican cartels do not maintain the street gangs in the US although they may supply many of them their direct involvement is limited to the west coast latino prison shot callers (nf and la eme). For the rest they will give drugs probably but they do not call shots on the streets.

LOL. I have no issues with claiming brotherhood with Mexicans. Violence in Mexico is confined to just 3% of its land area.
