So basically, you mean the rural people who rely on biomass for cooking and heating, are now even further away from using relative clean energy like LPG? I would hate to see that we will still be discussing about "biomass" 20 years from now, which, if India doesn't have any plan to address this issue yet, could very likely the case. India has started reform for over 20 years now, how much rural life style has changed? I am not sure how many Indian members here are from rural area, it would be nice to see positive changes in vast rural population.

Tourists in India : where are all fair/white skinned people and highly developed places.....Oh Mumbai stinks........Delhi is going to kill me due to pollution, why media didn't tell me about that?

Tourists in Pakistan : where are all bearded terrorists shouting slogans to kill westerners? where are all deserts, sands etc? Oh they have such clean roads and less crowded traffic and people. What hospitable people Pakistanis are!

No need to go far, an American on this thread who has traveled to Pakistan and India both, already verified that Pakistan has cleaner cities than India. Or you can go to any YouTube video comparing cities of Pakistan and India on cleanliness, you'll find many Indians admitting in comment section that their cities are populated as compare to Pakistani cities.......Islamabad and New Delhi are poles apart when it comes to cleanliness of road and fresh air. New Delhi is suffocated and dirty as hell along with Mumbai and other Indian cities

Westerners mainly visit Varanasi or Delhi, Mumbai etc.. Here, large cities rank below national average. Why you don't take opinion of other people and not only westerners.
How many people visit pak and how much they rove there?
They can stay in India anywhere but it can't be said about pak because of security concerns.
Average city is much better.
Ever heard about Gurgaon. We have a lot of such cities.
Two Karachites visited here and told it much better than Karachi.

Mostly westerners go in Varanasi.
