World Exclusive: F-16 Block-52 Flying With J-10C

Even if you are right, why get J-10Cs and JF-17s.

Do you even know why we got JF-17s in the first place? Because USA refused to sell us advanced F-16's.
That was then MG, this is now.

Since the nuclear weapons program came out in the open and then the whole process with FATF that Pakistan has to put in place, the US is not holding up on selling military wares to Pakistan. They will require Congressional approval but Pakistan will need to come up with its own money.

Heck, if Pakistan had the money, I bet USA would sell not only sell as many F-16s as Pakistan wants, they would even transfer the entire manufacturing line and technology, and say thank you ten times along with it!

Hi,

It happened because we did not KNOW HOW TO ASK in a timely manner.

It was PAF that had created the lies & drama.

PAF sabotaged the purchase of F16's after 9-11.

$5 billion was available in their account after 9/11

They waited 4 yrs from where to get aircraft

Then they donated 5 billion to kashmir earthquake.

A useless argument presented by mostly pro US chamchas. We did pay once for F16s and got soybean. We also were paying for the Turkish helicopters but US blocked engine sale. The whole world and even Europe saw how unreliable security or equipment supplier the US is. Whats the guarantee we will not get soybean again? Reducing dependence on the US is a strategic need for Pakistan, unless ofcourse our boots want to remain their loyal servants for ever.

Exactly, if USA was so generous, USA would have given more advanced F-16s, but we got JF-17s and J-10Cs instead. lol.

. .
USA is only doing that so we don't fall into the laps of China completely. Same thing when we got the Oliver Hazard Perry Frigate.

Do you actually think USA gives a damn for Muslims, and Pakistanis in general?
Do you give a damn about Christians or Jews or other Americans in general?

Hope you go the point I was alluding to. Expecting others to care for you instead of looking at their own interests? Heck first get Pakistanis to care about their own country.

LOL. Selective amnesia again? What did Pakistan do that got it soybeans instead of F-16s? Do you want me to remind you?

So whats stopping them from making another excuse? They can use excuse of taliban support, excuse of terrorists in Kashmir, even now they can use excuse of our closeness with china. Only a fool would trust US again. But some here actually want to keep Pakistan a slave of US and thus portraying such nonsense.

Excuse? LOL. If Pakistan wants to benefit from US military hardware, it must be willing to offer things that help US national interests too. After all, this is a two way street. Pakistan simply cannot expect to get all what it wants while ignoring other parties. Besides, if Pakistan wants to be free of USA, please go right ahead, no one can stop it.

Hi we still looking for USA hardware but coz of no money 💰 no honey situation another thing to keep in mind & line is us ahas to milk india which is a big country economically and politically too so it’s like showing right hand and slapping with the left as long as whatever threat PA can give to Indians and somewhat Chinese USA can sell whatever they want to Indians offcource no fear of double /triple standard and offcourse not a Islamic state too
can be a front line allie towards China and their cronies
so This way Pakistan buy let’s say second or third top of the line items USA can create a scene and sell Indians lot of expensive stuff and off course Indian can pay for these goodies with their strong economy
thank you

So selling weapons means ull have to be an obedient puppy all the time and pay for the weapoms as well? That doesn't sound ridiculous to u? Also isnt there something called integrity? U take money and then dont deliver the goods and decades later give soybean? American chamchas have to stretch too much to defend them. Pakistan wanted to be free but we all saw what the US did. Pakistan will get free of US influence one day though, the hatred for US will show its affects one day.

Does any particular nuclear explosion come to mind when wondering why Pakistan got soybeans instead of F-16s? :D

As I said before, no one can stop Pakistan from being absolutely free of USA if it wants to indeed do so. After all, Iran has been very successful in doing this. Go for it!

Just remind Bajwa and the army too, as they don't seem to be on the same page regarding this independence.

The soybean episode happened before the nuclear explosion.

The Pressler Amendment was enacted on "suspicions" of Pakistan's nukes.

Bajwa and peers see things factually when it comes to "dependence" and don't just plan their readiness on naray-baazi. There is no money available for upgrades, there is a dire dependency on Americans for major weapon systems which are at the high end of the technology spectrum. Think F-16s (upgrades, buying AIM-120Ds, more modern PGMs), Artillery Locating Radars, Air Defense Radars, C-130 fleet, countless artillery pieces, AshMs, torpedoes, electronic warfare, communication equipment, helicopters etc. etc. This aside from training in the US/West which benefits our own evolution as a modern military.

Add to this the fact that the military wants to buy more American weapons because of the need to maintain qualitative parity/edge with our adversary.

All of this is because there aren't a ton of options available to Pakistan in lieu of the American technology. Courting the Americans isn't because Bajwa and Co want to get visas post retirement as the other political threads are making it out to be.
