Nah, actually Guam is close to PNG which also has abundant oil and gas reserves, U.S based Chevron has established oil and gas operations in there, and Guam oil supply is not depended on Middle East's supply chain. Also, Guam food supply is more likely to be majorly supplied from Australia rather than Malaysia.

Anyway, the route to Guam will likely use northern Malaysia's Sabah and Serawak ports and then continue to Philippines ports after cutting through Malacca Strait. Considering that Malaysia is an ally to British which also an ally to the U.S whereas Phil is U.S traditional ally, do you think their navy will let Vietnam's subs to operate in their waters in order to cut supplies from and to Guam? not to mention that Malaysian navy has ASW ships and copters with integrated network.

Besides of that, Congratulation to Vietnam ! Let's fill the waters with submerged ships ! :partay:

Import oil from Sing is much cheaper .If they import from else where then they may go broke ,bro.
. etroleum companies on Guam import their supply from Singapore, where prices of refined fuel remain volatile in reaction to global pressures of demand, currency rates and the recent European economic crisis, says Bamba. "Global recession will definitely have impact on local pricing, to what extent is determined by its impact on supply, refining, and all other components along the process," Bamba says. "We are the last leg of the delivery cycle, which usually means impacts are compounded."

Ortega says the prices of crude oil and other oil products can fluctuate dramatically weekly or even daily. "Our region relies on imports of fuel obtained from the global regional market and the delivery of those products to our region follows a long, complex and costly supply chain," he says.

Although Guam has one the highest gasoline prices in the United States, industry leaders say prices at the pump are actually kept in check and stay within relatively manageable levels. They say prices would have been a lot higher if companies were shipping fuel products from the U.S. mainland. "We have to import from Asia to be able price gas efficiently," Dean says.

And l don't think Malay wanna get involve when war between US- Russia+VN start. Russia bomber can fire its missile from one thousand km and Kuala Lumpur will be destroyed in few hours.
