Excellent thread fateh71
But are these all "Ameer **** ki betiyan" ? ( Daughters of rich fathers/families) Or they started from the lowest rung and went up to their positions?
A couple of them got investments from their families and set up.
May be Kiran Majoomdar is an exception, can someone help me here?
Yes, i will help you.
1. First thing first its about women achiever please don't bring divide and rule in everything, spare them from rich and poor.
2. In developing nations we have most number of women achievers and its a achievement. Even they can't break glass ceiling in so called developed nations.
3. As per your query there are many from poor/middle class background.
For example:
Sudha Murthy
It was her savings of Rs. 10,000 that was instrumental in the founding of Infosys; N.R. Narayana Murthy proudly mentions this fact on several occasions.
Shahnaz Husain
She have started her business from home and used to sell shampoo in used second hand bottles to her neighbors, she was also helped by Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
there is a long list i hope u have got ur answer.
