Women as regular combatants?

I am just expressing my views. I AM NOT OPPOSED TO WOMEN. I DO WANT THEM TO CONTRIBUTE TO PAKISTAN ARMY AND ANY OHTER INSTITUTE IN PAKISTAN AND THEY ARE FREE TO DO SO. :hitwall:[/QUOTE]

I agree. Women can be assets in anything they do and most EU forces are fully staffed by women. However Pakistan should introduce them slowly into the Forces without much publicity and as slowly the mentality reservation against them changes they can be given more challenging roles.

Did you guys hear about the women who enlisted in the Pakistan Air Force? They have called for resignation because they are getting married. :hitwall:

AQ country that wants an edge in aircombat will use female fighter pilots. If the woman has the agression and ego a fighter pilot needs plus spatial oreintation (admittedly rare in a woman), then thier much finer small muscle control, better detail memory, and higher G tolerances would make them leathal.

OOE, the SAS is one thing but what about other non-infantry arms such as armour and artillery? Can't women do something there?

Alright, women have smaller muscles, but you must be joking with the small muscle control. Fine control of something like a heli is done through practise, not through getting smaller finger muscles. Hand eye coordination is what counts, a bit like cricket really, and you can see very muscular players and very thin players play just as well with the bat there.

Detail memory? Explain more. G tolerance doesnt matter with the G-suits they wear now. Though I'm not entirely sure how true it is. Have you got the links?

Maybe I'm sexist, but I think that women should not be allowed to be soldiers on the frontline. They can do every other job (even fighter pilots) but I'd rather give men a chance to be regular soldiers. Here in the US the army is having a lot of trouble finding new recruits, and because of this more and more female soldiers are ending up in the streets of Iraq. Guys, check out these links if you haven't seen them already. I think it says quite a lot about the issue:
