KOCHI: The Vadakkekara police on Saturday arrested a woman who had hired goons to attack her ex-husband with the help of a Facebook friend. However, the plan failed after the assailants mistook her 22-year-old brother-in-law for her husband and attacked him.

Police said that the incident happened on April 27 and that Kavya admitted her role in the incident after a detailed interrogation. Kavya was produced before the magistrate and remanded in judicial custody.

Kavya Anjali (29), a native of Kattoor in Thrissur, had recently separated from Vadakkekara native Stefin. However the plan to attack Stefin took a different turn when goons Kavya had hired through her Facebook friend Rajesh, a native of Kollam in Dubai, backfired on her brother-in-law Sefin.

"Kavya was hiding that fact that she had a 9-year-old child from a previous relation and had convinced Stefin to register their marriage as they belonged to different religions. She later changed her religion. She divorced Stefin due toirreconcilable differences. Later she befriended Rajesh on Facebook and sought his help to attack Stefin," said the police.

Women friendly laws have gotten into the heads of women here. They believe they can get away with anything, thank god that the guy had already divorced her or else not only he but his parents, sisters and brother would have faced false dowry case along with domestic violence case.

Strange topic to discuss. But no one is ready to open thread to discuss the gang rape of blind woman in layyah pakistan
Either no thread on a paralyzed woman who was raped by a Hindu employee of the hospital in Islamabad. Sadly she just passed away.
