Was that in Bangladesh’ history? Check again.
I think @itsanufy is dreaming about Greater Bangladesh:

@itsanufy, take it easy bro. All in due time.

In Greater Bangladesh, there will be no room for any type of extremism. All extremists will be tied up and thrown into Bay of Bengal.

I don't think current state of Islam allows any discussion. If you think otherwise, you must take your rose colored glasses off and stop smoking that stuff.

The answer is yes, there are is no problem debating about Islam. Just make sure that you know what you are talking about,

The Quran says something to the effect of “if you don't believe the Quran is the word of God read it for yourself and decide for yourself if it is” it's in the second surah

Do you have any idea about 1964 riot , India took 4 million minorities from Bangladesh. Forests were cleaned up to rehabilitee them. It was the starting point of losing the importance of West Bengal in India. Still now were are not able to coup with the population pressure resulted from it.
It was a pure religious cleaning of minorities including Christians and Buddhists.
Bangladesh was created on 1971. Maybe you need to do a revision and post again with correct information.

I agree present govt is doesn't have any partiality, but in my visits to BD, I can see common people are becoming more religious than ever. Its both for Hindus and Muslims. Hindus in BD are more religious than their counterpart in West Bengal.
A very different form of Muslim religion is coming to our land, Sufis are being looked down now. Sadly this trend is peeping to West Bengal as well.
Yes that is correct, with the rise of extreme liberalism in the west where poeople are now having identity crisis of gender and sexuality, with homosexuality becoming the norm the I see the people in east moving towards religion as the light that liberalism showed now seeing its demise.

No one expected western libaralism turning this extreme, some social scientists are cimpairing it to fall of other civilization like the roman and greeks, where people started to have gender identity crisis, homosexuality.

One fact I got to know recently, great Julius Caesar use to dress up as woman and looked for male sexual partners. Not long we will see queer western leaders running US UK.

Not correct. Radicalism has only increased thanks to Wahabi money flowing in. However, things are still well under control. Bangladesh has always been a tolerant society.
No, Muslim radicalism has increased a little, but it is because of BJP Hindu radicalism in India. BJP is in favor of Expel Muslims from India.

so there is no discussion what is written on Quran. Islam is all about following what is written in it. Where is the scope for discussion.

From my understanding, few surah/verses are broader and subjective. You can have discussion on it. Like how much length bread, man can have. Can they sing national anthem etc.

Its called tafsir. You have to study tafsir for years to be able to understand the true intriciacies.
Thats why also there are hadiths, to show with examples (context).

Thats why most western (and recently also Hindu) critics of Islam really arent taken seriously by muslims. Because they lack the deep knowledge.

How does the context (hadiths) in 600 AD applicable now? Can you please give your justification.

n islam the deen or way of life called al islam is based on the wisdom and knowledge of the all knowing lord and every single command of the all wise creator is abundant in common sense and logic. Asking any type of questions in islam to gain more knowledge or to confirm the truth so that ones heart is more content or to understand and thus follow with more conviction the dictates of the deen is not only permissible but absolutely encouraged in islam. It is the right of the brother or sister to ask anything they wish to clarify in the deen and it is the responsibility and duty of the good scholars to address the question asked to the best of their knowledge and ability and in the most polite and humble manner. What is discouraged in islam is if one asks questions for the sake of asking or arguing to ridicule the truth with absolutely no intention of obeying or following when the truth is made clear to them etc. But if one asks questions to clarify and seek knowledge so that one may better follow the deen such seeking of the knowledge of truth is absolutely encouraged in islam

This is not clear. What is the truth that is not there in Quran, you are seeking knowledge about it? Can you give one example?

Or he can book an appointment and speak to a local Arab masjid to answer any questions he has

I am not a jurist (qadi), maybe you can ask a muslim scholar?
Well the problem lies there.
Here is one example: Saudi arabia banned driving for women. They are allowing recently . Was the ban mistake or are they doing mistake now unbanning it?

It’s their Bedouin culture. Women frequently have to be escorted by a family member, they can’t drive or travel alone. That could mean their lives if they’re perceived to be in any sort of compromising situation and no family member is present. Same happens in my Pakistan Pashtuns society and other provinces as well it’s culture not religion do not mix it up
