The whole point of Partition was that Muslim majority areas could leave india and form a Muslim majority state
Any sensible implementation of Partition would understand that Kashmir a Muslim majority state will openly resent being forced into a hindu majority union
They resent it to this day, all they want is the freedom the rest of Pakistan got
First only Kashmir valley is Muslim majority. Moving across to Jammu /Leh /Laddak, no one would want to join Pak or vote for independence.
It was princely state of JK decision to join India after you invaded it.
At this point many Pakistanis contest but Muslims didn't want to join India. Fine, ok, then why same Muslims or you laying your rights to whole state, a state whose boundary was defined by same prince whom you despise?
Then it means that that part of Kashmir, Kashmir valley, wanted separation from rest of Kashmir.
When JK state fell to foreign invasion and local revolt then boundaries became irrelevant since administration and sovereignty went for a toss.
But you are legitimizing state boundaries defined by same prince that betrayed you.
In other words, you are legitimizing prince in some way and his decision.
