Heavy casualties can be inflicted on both sides. You can never win a war of attrition with India simply due to the size difference. And if you increase pressure in Kashmir thru insurgency, India will reciprocate by increasing its moral and political support to BLA and will open a few more consulates in Afghanistan. And really, India needs nothing from Pakistan except the appearance of bilateral dialog proceeding forward. So the status quo will continue since it has zero impact on either country. A soldier here, a civilian there.. Some times in Pakistan and sometimes in India.

Pakistan has been doing it for decades already with India, so supporting militancy in India is not something you can threaten us with. India on the other hand can do that. As I said, yet another day in South Asia.

The way I see it its been 10 years since our focus and resolve on Kashmir issue was distracted due to 9/11 and TTP- you guys played your part well and without any constraints since the last 10 years- its not same anymore- we are more than ready to resume in Kashmir or Afghanistan if the need arises- right now you are forcing us back to 80's and 90's by cancelling the dialogue- since you have gained alot in these 10 years- be it economically or military you have more to loose in this dirty play than us- I hope you understand that-
