What's new

With eye on China, India deploys Akash missiles in northeast !

That's a really good news for us (indians), but India need to use all of these weapons when China is entering in our territory at Ladakh & when Pakistan is breaking cease-fire at a regular basis & making harm to our civilians in those border areas, now time has come to give a befitting reply to both China & Pakistan

More People Warned, Banned, & Thread Banned. Trolls are a shame to themselves. Why can't trolls discuss a piece of NEWS in a Technical matter? This is a DEFENCE forum, not a TROLL forum.

And this came right after your warning.........................!! :D @Chak Bamu

That is not trolling.

why does India publish everything, not saying you shouldn't, but how is this not destabilizing. I mean you are literally saying with eye on China.

If you want to deploy do it, but why make such a scene, who are you trying to impress, or intimidate as it were.

Well since we are a Democratic country we have to publish everything & only the most secretive deployments & developments will not be published & don't underestimate your country's intelligence capability & the chances of the war or even a small tiny little accident has very remote chance, since now even the Chinese govt has praised our understanding on the Border Issue

The key word being, a weapon, I seen countless Indian papers and media saying a Chinese rail is in fact a plot and sinister in nature.

The rail have other purpose, and mostly it's not intended to harm anyone, but a weapon defensive or not can only destroy.

As I said I have no problem with sharing the news, but why say with an eye on China, why not just say you moved those there. It even says it's there to deter Chinese jets in this article's first paragraph.

We never say any weapon is intended for anybody, even the US don't say the pivot is about China, but clearly it is.

Even India didn't say it is about China, Indian newspapers said it, just like the way US newspapers & articles print news about US pivot to China. Your point is valid only if the Indian government statement mentions that the missile is for countering China, otherwise newspapers are free to write as per their understanding & interpretation which don't necessarily reflect the government's stand.

That is not trolling.

Point noted. :)

I know SAM and it is used to prevent our airplane from flying over our own territory.
Your own territory??We are not deploying this SAM inside the Xinjiang Autonomous Region or inside the Yunann Province. We are deploying it inside our own boundary. As far as we are concerned Arunachal Pradesh is a part and parcel of India since time immemorial and hence we have a right to do anything inside our territory. You are also doing the same inside Tibet which is an occupied territory,so i don't think you have a moral right here to comment in our internal matters...:coffee:

Now you see the true face of Indian politicians? Does China still want to do business with these people?
Lol,did we beg in front of your country to do business with us.We have got a lot of other options right now,so thanks but no thanks:wave:

good buildup. If we can aquire some s300 squadrans and deploy them in northeast.

There are supposedly some S-300 squadrons deployed, but they are elsewhere; protecting high-value targets. The Akash Batteries are OK for this region.
As the Akash Batteries are progressively inducted, the remaining SAM-3 batteries can live out their remaining service lives in Southern Peninsular India.

p.s. the DRDO is also working on an Indian version of the S-300 SAMs. Its come of the drawing boards and has entertered the proto stage.

Chinese air force isn't Ukrainian air force. J-10B has such devastating SEAD capability that Akash won't even see it coming :yes4:

Akash is the name of the missile you moron,so quite naturally it won't 'see' you junks coming!!

Thnks for the info mate. Never knew Drdo is making s300 copies. If indicted these batteries will build up a very effective air defence capabilities in our side.

India had imported S300varients to protect our national capital. and drdo is building a very long range SAM for our ground based anti air systems. Its range is 200 km. Drdo is not making any S 300 copies as we don't do reverse engineering. This particuler SAM is extended version of LRSAM.

Spare the crap of "part and parcel since time immemorial",AP came into the Indian union after the proposal for the british crown colony collapsed. If it wasn't for the british,India would have never come into existence.
Unless you believe the world and time began in 1947 AD that is..
