We have a consensus in Canada that niqab and other concealment should be outlawed. Also for any westerners reading this, please do note that some folks here do not represent the majority segment of Pakistan so let me make this clear although the hypocrisy is noted like the good ol game of shitte genocide(in fact i know extended folks that were killed) and as well as killing of other minorities.


Although I am hesitant to comment on behalf of pakistan folks as that is my ancestral homeland(not lived there) however you are correct in the notion that folks belonging to shitte school of thought or other islamic beliefs are killed by folks of similar thought(search up a personal called Wahab saudi arabia then you will understand the bigger picture) and then they come around and give us a lecture on plurality and tolerance.

This year and last year a 12 and 13 year old British girl gave birth and dad had to be identified by DNA test as they were sexually active with miltiple boys.

So obviuoslu we dont wany to degrade that much by blindly accepting western way of life.

This year a 15 year old and even a mature 20 year old british muslim girl ( burkqa clad) became terrorist, joined ISIS and now selling yazdee women to ISIS jehadis. It must be glorious.

Nobody here was commenting about the hijab.. and neither was PM Abbot.. Which is a accepted garment worn by Muslim women world wide

This is about allowing people that cover thier identity with a face veil or a Burka, An archaic tribal garb from the dark ages of the Arabian peninsular that has no place in modern society Muslim or not

Muslims in Australia are given enough of freedoms to adhere to their religion and customs but not at the cost of socially acceptable norms of the country or at the risk of national security

And no it's not particular towards Muslim women, A blond blue eyed Aussie Sheila in a bikini wearing a ski mask will also be banned prevented from entering the parliament due to the same reasons.. Because for humans their face is the primary facet of their identity and persona

I think freedom of expression should be sacrosanct in a democracy. As far as not forced, if women wish to wear a burkha, it should be their choice. If Sikhs choose to wear turbans, should they too not have a choice?
