I like to point out that moving of certain industries into Vietnam is not something China is apprehensive about. In fact, it is good from many perspectives, including environment, wages, and high-end production in China.

I would be concerned if low-end production did not move to other places out of Mainland China. Japan experienced it; Taiwan province experienced it; now it is Mainland to experience it.

We need to keep in mind that production leaves China as FDI into China is first or second in the world.

As a final point, I would not like to see Vietnam to remain poor. As long as Vietnam is the favorite destination in place of India, I am fine.
CN is in chaos in 2023, Trump will raise 25% tariff if CN keep widenning trade deficit. no nid to "point out" anything. just sit wand wait for your chaos, my friend:cool:

Vietnam has advantage of directly neighboring China's industrial zone, this creates an ideal condition for Vietnam to low costly integrate itself into China's global supply chain. Only those businesses target global market might consider move some production into Vietnam to take advantage of low cost, in fact there're lots of low end business primarily produce for domestic market, it's big enough for them. Vietnam can never become a factory like China, however Vietnam does have potential to become as prosperous as say Thailand or Malaysia.

But nothing change in real life, CN economy is falling, Xi must cut tax to keep the growth and the consequence is that CN guard ships have no money ( due to tax cut) to buy fuel to protect Cnese fishing boast when VN ships spraying them.

Do something that save u in real life instead of keep posting nonsense.

china strategic location and supply chain cannot be replaced by vietnam as china heavily invested in cpec and other infrastructure which enables transport from factories to the market cheaply and in more efficient manner which vietnam lacks

VN products r cheaper when Trump slap 25% tariff to CN.

.
only cheap products not matters if shipping becomes more costly and not at appropriate time due to poor infrastructure and supply chain management and less connectivity with world

Seems chemicals do kill people's brain.

Do you know What Japanese did in China in WW II ? You are killed .. first in Asia !

"In 2002, Changde, China, site of the plague flea bombing, held an "International Symposium on the Crimes of Bacteriological Warfare" which estimated that the number of people killed by the Imperial Japanese Army germ warfare and human experiments was around 580,000.[30] The American historian Sheldon H. Harris claims that 200,000 died.[31]In addition to Chinese casualties,"

Do you know how long it takes China to add Vietnam's entire GDP just as an increment to its own GDP? Less than 4 months. Each year China's GDP grows by an additional 3-4 Vietnams (from its size of 56 Vietnams). Next "world's factory."
There's no next anything; China was the first and the last.
