Turkey is a bit funny. A bit schizo. Doesn't know what/who it is. Torn between east/west, religion/secularism, nationalism etc.

Comparing it to Pakistan though....errr. Even for RT that's shockingly poor journalism.

No doubt Turkey has sunk in world opinion under Erdogan. He's had confrontations with most of the world leaders and has alienated Turkey in the region. He's also got the country involved in a war which may still come to bite them in the ***.

Hopefully he'll be gone soon.

Erdogan is Erdogan and not Turkey, he will not be the leader forever, the image of Erdogan sunk not of Turkey.

The war in Syria harbors a great many factions, some of which have clear Islamist leanings, with the Al-Nusra Front (ANF) being the most prominent and notorious one till recently. The West easily call this group an “Al-Qaeda associate”active in Syria. Another name that also seems to have dominated the airwaves recently is the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), referred to as an “al-Qaeda splinter group.” In this way, the current war in Syria is presented as another part of the supposedly never-ending war against the enemies of civilization, centered around a mysterious organization known only as Al-Qaeda.

a short answer will be a short sightedness by punishing one of the only remaining secular Arab country out of Wahabi infested Arab Apartheid states in the Arab peninsula

our army and ISI also gets blamed (and criticised) for supporting the sectarian fiends that morphed into all out terrorists against the state of Pakistan.

WHY?

in the bringing our support was originally meant for Afghanistan & India. then the civil war in Afghanistan and 9/11 created a situation which all the world jihadists found favourable to come in and quench their thirst for human blood.

Americans have already openly stated their intent regarding Balochistan so BLA will get latest weapons now

Saudis are funding TTP
and recently they have bought American MANPAD which might be supplied to FSA
TTP is also there so do the maths what can happen.

as of now our airpower is what TTP has no answer to. but MANPADs supplied by our brothers and allies can quickly change that
