DG ISPR lost all its credibility when he came and discussed how stock exchange reacted to regime change. It was not his place. Why again and again he is saying their is no controversy or interference? Why hasnt DG ISPR said anything about the claims of Veterans? Why hasn't he responded or discussed why Pension of retired offrs halted?
It all point out to one direction Army screwed ? its losing face and ppl who were once supporting Armed forces are now talking smack about them.

No, he was not doing politics and he was actually quite right, that countries break up because of economic reasons.

Imran Khan's underlying context is that the country would break if he is not made the Prime Minister, agreed?

No, "IK never said the country will break if he is not made the PM", as I said it is the usual spin nani media gives and keyboard warriors propagates.

The context of what he said was that "certainly you guys believe PML N is quite popular and should form the goverment....while there are many others who believe PTI should.....so what's the solution? 'call the election'.....so asking for elections and if you will deny the voting right to these people it can eventually lead to breaking up.

So what exactly is wrong with this statement? and oh yeah please enlighten us on the East-Pakistan saga

I think it was Raheel Sharif who equated financial strength and stability of a country to its survival and cohesion, is that what you were referring to? Because I absolutely agree to that point; a country can only be cohesive and at peace when there is stability (financial especially) and law and order (which are interlinked to a large extent)

IK's insinuation is precisely that he should be made the PM (or perhaps a king) otherwise the country would break into parts. Because even after elections, when PTI loses big time, Imran Khan will against claim foul and continue with the same BS that he does every time he loses and these will only get more severe until something concrete is done about him. The leeway given to him is not fair; we should make another Altaf Hussain out of him. The discrimination between a Mohajir leader and a Punjabi leader should end.
