America will never take on Iran and Pakistan together for no reason. It is because they are a slave to Israel's needs that we are even having this f'd up discussion. If we become axis of evil then remind their historians that there will be no re-writes and editing of history afterwards when humanity ceases to overcome radiation poisoning.

What would one think that the spiritual political elders of the nation, who have gathered in the Pak Tea House, would say about the Zardari-Gilani government’s decision? Indeed, a collective response of our elders would be one of terrible shock, a betrayal of our very national genesis and an utter disillusionment in Pakistan’s contemporary role in international politics. But their individual responses would be far more reflective of our failure in political nationhood, the ailing polity that we have become, and the permanent submissive role to the US-West that this nation has assumed in the management and conduct of its foreign policy.

NO BODY in the modern world is going to launch a nuke unless a country's very survival is so threatened by carpet bombing or invading occupation armies.

About this topic, although the opening article is bullcrap emotionalism I think, given the history/comments by the generals of Pakistani army (as well as Dr. Khan's help to Iran) my guess is that Pakistan will covertly support Iran in case of an attack against Iran. Millions of Irani refugees coming to Pakistan with horrific tales of misery are going to going to cause an uproar like never seen before. Do not underestimate the ethnic, religious, and historic ties. The problems in Afghanistan of the 90s were not enough to dent those ties.

PS. Though I am not Shia I don't think there is much credence to this 'Shia dominated world' view in Pakistan. Shia population worldwide is too small to do any taking over and Iran is a B-Grade military and economic power to begin with. This is all 'divide n rule'.

Pakistan wont and cant because

1. Pakistan is dependent on US for milliatry aid
2. Pakistan is a US ally, Iran is not
3. Iran has contantly shunned us and their mullahs funded extremist terror groups inside our terriotery
4. Pakistan has grown visibly closer to saudi arabia.
5. Iran is evidently lined with India and has sidelined Pakistan on sevral occasions.
6. Iran has been a serious destabilizing force in Afghanistan and supported anti-Pakistan elements.

Any invasion of Iran will deal serious blow to its confidence in India if Pakistan simply choose to turn blind eye. It will be the magic spell to end their "revolution" for ever.

Nukes are not a joke, but neither is lumping Pakistan into axis of evil and declare war on us, which is what the response was directed to. Nukes are made for use, and threaten to use them in subtle manners, to ensure your day to day survival. Our nukes are why ISAF is not operating in Pakistan.
