Depends on the will of the people, how many have tried to break Afghanistan and remained unsuccessful?

U.S.A never had intentions to break it. If they want , they can do it within 2 days. U.S.A had other plans, look in broader view, they just want to extend influence, they needed soldiers boots near china, and they got it in the form of afghanistan and ruling afghanistan, using influence in this region too.
