Will overseas Pakistani stop sending Remittance if they cannot Vote via Internet or other country?

I don't agree with online voting - you just cannot secure it 100% to where there can be no doubts about the system being compromised.

Mail in ballots for overseas Pakistanis, with copies of NADRA cards/MRP's, should be the only option.

You are funny aren't you. Postal voting is safer than online? Yeah?

.
some one mentioned on the credibility of online...

australia immigration is entirely online... and it has some of most robust immigration standards of the world so much so Trump even mentioned and praised it..

online voting in contrast is very simple.

Anyone who holds Pakistani citizenship has the right to vote!

Dual nationals shouldn't be allowed to vote and neither should be allowed to be in the government. People who have been outside of the country for more than 5 years they shouldn't be allowed to bote as well. It should be only done at the consulate.

I don't agree that Pakistanis should not be allowed to vote, those who have opted another nationality should not be considered Pakistani but as far as our constitution fecognise them as Pakistani they have every right to vote. We don't have defined yet who are the overseas Pakistanis.

Why, what makes you more Pakistani over them ?
The country is living off of these peoples honest and hard work while some freeloaders and corrupt people who are more Pakistani burning the country to the ground.
People who are dual nationals and have a major portion of their investment outside of Pakistan have been or move out just after retirement, this has been the curse to this nation.

Would you like that the President or Prime Minister of Pakistan be a dual national?
If not, then why some else be more Pakistani than him or he is a lesser Pakistani than anyone else while being a dual national?

There is no freeloading for the general public of Pakistan, freeloaders are dual nationals, and precisely that has been an issue for Pakistan.

I wish that money was not present at least then the higher-ups had to do something good for Pakistan even if just to sustain their ayashi.

Besides, the people(mostly) who are sending remittances to Pakistan are not dual national, so it doesn't affect them at all except if they haven't been outside of Pakistan permanently for more than 5 years.

They shouldn’t send money back home either.
People who are dual nationals welcome to do that and It doesn't bother me at all.
If their significant other is in the country they ought to vote
Significant other has the right to vote as it should be the case but with this argument, non-nationals who are married to Pakistanis should have the right to vote, contest the election, and be the President or Prime Minister of Pakistan as well.

Nah they've been sending money for the past 20 years, not gonna stop any time soon

Not 20 years, 60-70 years.

You're talking out of your backside. Most of the Pakistani's in the UK are from Mirpur/North Punjab and have been here since the 1960's. They are all dual nationals, yet have been sending money to Pakistan since that day. People have invested in property, businesses, land, charitable projects - the entire economy of some parts runs on expat money.

You seem to think all dual nationals are like the Sharif family and Justice Isa.

I hold a Pakistani passport - i have the right to vote in Pakistan. I can return to Pakistan today and register on the electoral role and cast my vote if i wanted to. This legislation merely means that i can do so without having to fly to Pakistan.

Will overseas Pakistani stop sending Remittance if they cannot Vote via Internet or other country? I mean if show PTI laws are block by the SC and overseas Pakistani are not allowed to vote in other countries or via online than will still send money to Pakistan with same passion even if their is a other form of government in 2023.
now when the corona is almost over in europe , uk and middel east,
the remittances will drop 50%.50.000 uk /pakistani citizens came to pakistan with money in there pockets, same every where.
cas the hundi system was closed for 6 months
people were obliged to send money throo legal channels

Like a vote, this is a deeply personal matter.

OP has no understanding of the term privacy.

No one has a right to blackmail anyone. Not even the Government.

.
The Pak Deep State has done a splendid job via electronic voting machine and voting rights for the non-resident Paks! Now, the government by/of/for the Deep Nation is getting permanent the way it is in Turkey, Russia etc...

Tebrikler...

You're talking out of your backside.
You are not a person worth having a discussion with. A person who doesn't have the basic ability to have a discussion and has the audacity to use the words for others which you yourself deserve as of now.

Brother go on troll Indians and blabber with them.

When you are matured enough let me know and we can have a discussion then.

Well, that's just my logical opinion.

Here is one more free for you as well.
'Dual national' who run outside of Pakistan for 'treatment' while praising Pakistani hospitals day and night shouldn't go outside of Pakistan and stick to Pakistani hospitals for 'treatment' and hair transplant.

When some people's arguments are dismantled they resort to tactics like this.

You got words fitting to your remarks. You were the one who claimed overseas Pakistanis who are dual nationals were a curse.

Look at this video and look at the condition of the Pakistani living in Pakistan.

Many of us in the Mirpur region, especially the muhajir lived in the same condition. Those who do not have family overseas still live in the same condition.

Our forefathers didn't leave for the same reasons the burger class did. We cannot be compared to them.

The majority of people on this forum are dual nationals and overseas Pakistanis. The forum owner is overseas (I might be wrong). The owner of the old PDF was overseas. The owners of several other rival Pakistani forums were overseas.

There are people posting here today who have contributed regularly for 10-15 years and are overseas Pakistanis. We don't do it because we don't have tiktok or Netflix.

Stop this nonsense. Without disrespecting overseas community the fact as most of them send remittances not out of love Pakistan but wither for their relative in pakistan or otherwise they r living in a country not offering citizenship. So other than few who are sending with the intent of growth of Pakistan most are sending because of personal needs.

This is nothing wrong about it however this should not be a blackmailing tactics.
