Will new Chinese artillery rival US weapons?

As if China don't have. You do know China has ASAT and it achieved it kill thru kinetic energy without explosive warhead. It need to be so precise to achieved the kill against the high speed target.

big deal an F15 kinetic killed a satellite in 1982 using nothing but onboard sensors.
killing satellites in orbit is easy because .... well look up the definition of the word orbit..
..it is a repeating path hence ...predictable and easy to intercept.

I should write to the CCP and request better quality of pdf members from China.
You lot are making China look bad.

.
An orbit is a regular, repeating path that one object in space takes around another one. An object in an orbit is called a satellite. A satellite can be natural, like Earth or the moon. Many planets have moons that orbit them. A satellite can also be man-made, like the International Space Station.

Yes, a big deal. Not even Soviet use ASAT kinetic kill but by thermo nuclear explosion becos they couldn't get it so precise. Since u think it's so easy, how many countries has demonstrated such kill that your one hand can't count?

Looks like the one makes US in pdf looks like fool is only you. :enjoy:

Nonsense as usual the Soviets tested the first ASAT weapon in 1963. This system could release an explosive device or fire Kinetic pellets at the target satellite look up Истребитель спутников.

ASAT mission(s) mandate a missile suited for aerial engagements (SAM types). An SSM type can be converted into one but accuracy factor will not be top notch in this case. This much was apparent in the Chinese ASAT effort back in 2007. The engagement part was impressive but resulted in lot of debris.

The CEP of surface-to-surface missile (SSM) category is in the order of meters on average. An SSM having 10 m CEP is considered to be accurate in the category A small number of designs have approached 5 m CEP mark. PrSM is pushing the envelope in this aspect however.

Coming back to ASAT category:

An Arleigh Burke class destroyer (USS Lake Erie) was directed to kill a satellite (USA-193) when it failed, veered off-course, and was in free fall towards Earth in wobbling and tumbling motion. This was both a challenging and dangerous target to deal with because of its erratic trajectory and onboard hydrazine tank.

Americans chose an SM-3 class interceptor to engage and destroy USA-193. The ultimate challenge was to score a direct hit on the onboard hydrazine tank in the face of erratic trajectory of USA-193 - this was like aiming for a particular part among numerous parts in the mass of an object. This level of accuracy would necessitate a CEP in the order of centimeters (cm) and beyond coupled with (95%) First Shot probability - herculean requirement.

Guess what? SM-3 class interceptor delivered.

The above is a demonstration of the sophistication of the Aegis Combat System in equal measure and Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) of the USN by extension. Amazing stuff TBH.

Americans continue to surprise and impress. People need to pay close attention.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy reported in his speech at the Association of the U.S. Army conference that the Pentagon’s hypersonic missile hit within 6 inches of its target.

“Hypersonic missiles are hitting their targets with a variance of only a mere 6 inches,” he said during his speech at the virtual opening ceremony Oct. 13.
McCarthy was referring to the Army and Navy’s successful hypersonic glide body flight test this year, which launched from the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai, Hawaii, on March 19, an Army spokesperson confirmed.

The Common-Hypersonic Glide Body, or C-HGB, launched and flew at hypersonic speed to “a designated impact point,” according to a statement issued the day of the test.

What not said can well be the mosterest important part of any warfare against India be that in the mountains or against their tanks. Will the Indian much touted India’s heaviest battle tanks T90 be having great fun with these Chinese toys that will meet them even before the Chinese light tanks?

And those toys be coming to you in AI backed swarms.

Hmmm... So too will Muricans be facing those Chinese swarms as well.

You feeling lucky? :pleasantry::pleasantry::pleasantry:

So start that war with China.

China will bring that war to those that brought the war to an end.

thewire.in lurking here and reading me and their Indian eyes popped out of their fucking head.
And they went on to write without creditting me for telling them about the swarms of AI drones coming out to hunt down supapower jawans and their hulking tanks.

India Needs to Be Prepared to Be Able to Ward Off Chinese Drone, Cluster Munition Attacks
Repeated military-level talks should not lull decision makers into a sense of complacence as there is a high probability that the dragon is biding its time to strike.

That Murican gotten by stealing of China IP but doing a poor job of it
Not sure where you get that idea of stealing when we revealed it years ago. Even the design looks similar. And China revealed theirs just only this month.

And you dropped a drone from helicopter, big deal, U.S. dropped them from fighter jets.
