They will have to show strength, somehow. It's up to them to decide how brave they want to be - or suffer the consequences of inaction. What is worth dying for?

"Rhodes Scholar" is he for real? What is the legacy of Cecil Rhodes? A true oxymoron! Now about moderate Muslim? He must define that because it may only mean a non violent person but what is the writers implication? Though most of today's problems have their roots in colonialism and need surgery to fix but the question is, Is west willing to accept change or are Muslims supposed to bring it by force?

the biggest issue being that moderate muslims know litttle about their own religion in depth to argue with the extremist. The extremist only has to rote 20% of nitpicked verses and he leaves the moderate muslim guessing about their own faith.

Common sense can guide people but nowadays common sense is very uncommon. The World is led by hawks on both sides and defiance is the way of World. Good people have become weak.

why just moderate? why not the peaceful muslims also stand up and question and eradicate the jihadi muslims once and for all? 'moderate muslims' simply means people who do not commit terrorisms themselves but tolerate others doing so.

what we need is muslims to be peaceful and peace loving - not moderate, not violent. They all claim that is what their religion is all about, so let's see them follow it!

BTW don't think this is pipedream. I know many muslims who are absolutely peace loving people with whom it is an honor to be friends with.
