Nan-Yue was Nam Viet, dude.
Who says Cantonese are Viets? We are close, but not as close as that we can say we are the same people.
No matter it was 南越 or 南粵, it was still an ancient Chinese nation. Its history belongs to China.
Just like Bayern Kingdom was an German nation and its history belongs to Germany, also Indians Sangam belongs to India.
In fact I am glad that the Chinese Emperor gave you the name Viet-nam (越南 instead of Nam-Viet (南越, otherwise some of you (like that idiot here) will take this as an advantage to claim the ancient 南粵國. Just like some of those Korean always claim that they own the territory of North-East China.
