It's not too late, Pakistan can still join this strategic US-led alliance in Asia that is meant to curb out of control Chinese expansionism and aggression.

India will greatly benefit in terms of military from this alliance with USA. Americans can actually help India bridge gap in many areas something which Pakistan and China wont like. That being said, it all comes with a cost and it is up to India to decide if they want to pay that cost (Tangible and intangible). So far India has enjoyed good relationships with China and now things are going south at least diplomatically for now and this means more defense budget spending keeping in view China.
