Most of time, indian and Chinese members in this forum disgusting with each other. It's time to make change. We need peace with India, to make sure the safety of our southern gate. Unlike Japan, India didn't kill Chinese in such great volume in the historical past. We fall foul with each other in the recent sixty years, not the whole history. Why not say something positive about each country instead of endless spitting and imprecations?

Its all due to cpc, it was not there 60 years ago and we lived peacefully and like friends.

A military conflict between China and Japanese will get international with USA joining in.


India's primary objective will be to reduce tensions on both side through diplomacy so that military conflict doesn't become a global war, coming towards India's doorstep

China will never engage in a military conflict with Japan. This is a dream and rhetoric by western media in view of discrediting China to justify the US war criminals presence in South China Sea and just next to the shore of China. China will attack Philippines, China will attack Vietnam, China will attack India, China will attack South Korea, China will attack Taiwan, and even China will attack Australia etc. Do you think China is stupid enough to do all these in a period of declining economic growth. Chinese are very patient people, China will wait when all these countries will beg for Chinese economic support then China can get a hold on all its territorial claims. Moreso how could China attack its main clients and suppliers like Australia etc. What is happening to the Phillipines right now? At the request of the US, they are challenging and bullying China but the US cannot do nothing to lift the Philippines economy from poverty, they get only military support while China can invest and help the Philippines to become an economic Asian powerhorse. China is silently and slowly blocking all imports from the Philippines and this is adversely impacting on the Philippines.

what would you choose. China loosing and then we facing the prospects of Hans rising again (very little prospects).
or
China winning and defeating India, and leaving the onus on India to rise again and defeat China later.

Try it again like Nehru? You absolutely take a chance by putting other Indian at risk. And if that happens, bi-lateral relationship deteriorates forever.

i dont see why india would even try, it would surely loose.

a war would japan by all intents and purposes would be a naval war, meaning the Chinese army would be free to deal with any India "backstabbing", secondly India has it own problems to deal with and cannot exert 100% effort to its north(Pakistan for one) even if its terrible infrastructure there can handle it. and lastly launching a surprise attack on any nuclear power is a very bad idea.

w.r.t your argument of arming pak just to save them from our evil wrath, can we say that we can attack Tibet on the first hint of slackening of japans defense ?

Greedy? China is occupying indian territory of north arunachal. Chiana says that arunachal pradesh is part of north arunachal. but we own arunachal.. so we should take back occupied territoy of N. Arunachal to make it whole again.
