1 . Forget living pilot , had pakistan got a single metal crap from the Su30 , they would be showing it to the whole world to demoralize IAF . They would have never missed this chance .

Hahaha every reputable source in the world has decimated indian claims of shooting down a viper and the success of the bombing raid.

Pakistan's JF-17 had brought down 2 Indian fighters - 1 MIG-21 (1 pilot) and 1 SU-30 fighter (2 pilots). MIG-21 crashed on the Pakistan side while the SU-30 crashed on the Indian side.

MIG-21 pilot had to be released as, his video was published on the internet and neither India nor Pakistan could not hide that fact.

One SU-30 pilot had died in the crash while the other is in Pakistan's custody.

Pakistan is willing to release the pilot but it wants India to first accept the fact that the SU-30 fighter was taken down by the Pakistani fighter.

Modi does not want to accept that and instead is trying to prove that Pakistan had used its F-16 fighters against India in the hope to put pressure on Pakistan through the US.

In all this drama between India & Pakistan, the Indian SU-30 pilot is languishing in Pakistan's custody.

Will he ever get his freedom like Abhinandan Varthaman, the Indian MIG-21 pilot?

3. the mig21 pilot is the critically injured one and probably in the ICU at CMH, will be shown to the world and handed over to india if he lives.

5. PAF has not and will not use the F-16s as the frontline fighter due to 2 reasons:
a. No trust in the u.s. in pressing a kill switch in the middle of a fire fight.
b. We don't have the kind of air refuelers for the F-16. Our air refuelers are for aircrafts with IFR probes while the F-16 does not have that, just a fuel intake on the spine. Therefore JF-17 Thunders and Mirages are the platforms of choice for sending first. F-16s remain on backup.
