I don't think you should belive this....we are getting ToT for a long time and i doubt we have learned something. We got ToT during Jaguars also, i am not sure about Migs but again we were unable to keep up the pace and we again need a ToT for this generation fighter jets via MMRCA. We have already plan to spend 6 billion $ for next gen. I mean are we really learning from ToT??/

Same was the case with submarines also, we got tech before also from Germans but have we built any indigenous Subs yet, no...but instead we placed an order of Scorpene with ToT, but again our MDL has not learned anything and we are placing order for P75I and this time we will be spending 11 billion $. And i doubt if they will learn something from this.

As far as that P75I is concerned it won't be too different in technology level from Scorpene, ofcourse their will be difference but those can be met easily, there's no need to spend so much. Purchase the tech for AIP. But do you guys know there's already a project for AIP going on in DRDO. So why are we spending 11 billion $ for ToT ??
