Pakistan have enough raw material like gold, copper etc to pay for weapons in case of emergency need.

As does every nation but that won't help you in a wartime as do you think Russia is going to keep a few of these frigates around just waiting for the time you need them? It takes years to build a warship.

And bare in mind Russia hasn't even offered this frigate for sale to Pakistan.

Just google about gold, copper and other natural resources of Pakistan and you will know how rich Pakistan is...

What condition you see now in Pakistan is due to mismanagement by our leaders, it has nothing to do with resources available which makes us a rich country in resource.

Pakistan will not ask Russia for weapons in case of war, China is there to help in this situation, I was referring 2008 or OBL type situation when Pakistan needed urgent weapons to prevent war.

PN's Budget is some 500 million & they are talking about buying a ship of 700 million

Since India is not ready, Pakistan can buy ships from Russia if they are ready to offer. Which country will come forward to kill their own ship building industry to please the others(Russians)? when our base is strong enough to build our own ships, why should we buy from Russia? no point..
