Will Imran Khan Return to Power After US Coup?

That window of opportunity slipped. Pakistanis won't like it but a Sheikh Mujib would've successfully pulled it, not sure if IK can.
Not sure if it did, after Ramadan we will se what will happen, I have feeling reading news and comments that the sentiment is only brewing to the boiling point but waiting for proper signal to action.

.
IK needs to understand this before the people do.

Still not criticizing Bajwa directly.

Still mincing words.

Still counting on the ECP / repeated protests.

This is how stuff gets diluted. Strike when the iron is hot.

Should he also go the muzahmat hogi to mufahmat hogi route?

The reason I don't think he should do that is because he has some public support too, while the muzahmat walay didn't. This public support is enough to force the hands of the powers to be. Furthermore, if he also goes down that route, then his followers will too, and you cannot this many people, it ain't the MQM. Abhi halka sa hi kaam kharab hua and we all saw the tweets and reactions, which the enemy would too take advantage of.

In the case of N league or PPP, if they even take a hardline stance, that is restricted to TV shows and small rallies no more than a few thousand people. Their acatual following couldn't care less, and isn't as hostile as the PTI one. Getting my point?

This is perhaps the first time an incoming government is being ridiculed while the outgoing is more popular. Just look at the video of Shahbaz Sharif at a sasta bazar in Lahore, chants of chor chor forced him to run.

.
What’s the point of kicking him out, if we have to see him again in power? Do our institutions have capacity to bear this tried, tested and absolute failure for another 5 years? I don’t think so

Your statement fits well for the pdm Traitors and thieves brought in power on American instructions.

The only period of actual improvement in all spheres came in IK tenure after a lost decade.

I respect your opinion and agree with most of it.

But I don't see anything changing even if he comes back, even if it's with a 2/3rds majority. The problem is not just with the current COAS but the entire system that allows an unaccountable deep state to amass a power monopoly. It can only be broken with a totally new social contract and constitution. I hope IK realizes this.

You see, I'm not okay with incremental improvement. It's simply not meaningful enough when you're a failing state like Pakistan. Within this system, incremental improvement (at best) is all we can hope for.

Pakistani state shows its worst than banana Republic anybody can come to power all U need a big power on ur side state has no spine left

Mujib was successful because #1. He was using ethnic card #2. Geographical challenge for establishment to reinforce and project authority.

Indians tried replaying same trick many times in Pakistan after 71, specially in Sindh and Baluchistan but establishment was pretty good at marginalizing those elements via carrots n stick approach.

Issue now isn’t establishment but also their foreign masters.

I wasn't actually talking about secession. I was talking about a struggle against the establishment. Long before '71 Mujib struggled against Ayub Khan Govt and spent time in jail for long time. Geographical challenge was only a challenge during 71 war not before as Mujib and his party workers were regularly oppressed and jailed.

Anyway, it's going off topic. Let's get back to topic.

Establishment may be lucky, but Pakistan needs him to be an egotistical revolutionary right now.

SaadH for President.

Seriously, though, it has been a pleasure to have you here.
Yes, I will be calling for rushing the gates of Parliament and GHQ if Immy chickens out...

Sheikh Mujib was dealing with a regime that is traditionally tolerant of treachery in fact to this day it tolerates traitors in its midst and even patronizes them. Sheikh Mujeeb was in military custody after the hostilities started and they could've very easily executed him, but true to form they let me him go and get back to East Pakistan.

Also Sheikh Mujib had full backing and support of USSR and India, he could take on the establishment with full blown facilitation from a super power and a regional power.

Unlike Mujeeb,, IK is not a traitor nor a namak haram and definitely not a ethnocentric bigot peddling hatred. He has to work within the system without destroying it, a much more complicated and difficult proposition than the scorch earth approach of Mujeeb.

Sorry we don't want IK doing shaddy meetings with Indians and RAW to backstab the country
Keep this advice to yourself, thanks
We would like for Imran to remain a patriot and not a mir Jafar traitor

Nawaz sharif is a traitor, his brother seems alright or atleast not as active
But NS is a full blown traitor

He's an equally pernicious criminal scum...which in itself treachery to the nation...

.
IMF deal and $200m peanuts given to the PMLN / PPP crooks means only one thing.

Imran Khan is gone for good.

Unless Imran Khan and the public can turn the table here.

.
Don't you ever say fate for beyond fate there's a fate
Whatever they might do there's a providence coming from the empty sky
So what if the sun sinks, there's an ARCHITECT restoring the night
If I am burnt there's a fortress built of my ashes
There is a victory growing defeat by defeat

In you there's the key to reaching the secret of all secrets
In your breast there is a vein that summons your exiles to return
I won't give up hope in you, there's a tree called mercy in your heart

Beloved
Most beloved
Oh, beloved

- Sezai Karakoch (b. 1933) Turkish poet.

*These stanzas are often recited by Reis Erdo'an in the public meetings.
**I hope some friends in the PDF translate them in eloquent Urdu and share in the social media
