This is a very balanced view by Dr Moeed Pirzada. Well researched and worth a watch.

In summary;
- he thinks he needs to focus on inflation
- thinks CM of Punjab and KPK are unimpressive political leaders
- current KPK govt not as impressive as it's previous term
- thinks the way Aleem Khan and JKT have been treated by PTI post election might put off people spending big on PTI in elections, says it's not an idealistic take, but a reality of Pakistani politics.
- thinks IK has too much confidence in his own popularity
- suggests health cards havent had the political impact in KPK that govt expected them too
- questions whether punjab LG polls will take place on time considering shock of KPK

He will suffer a historical thrashing

A good opportunity to explore the ground realities for PTI, if wants the internal diseases to be treated and to learn the lessons else will not survive. An eye-opener/wake-up call for PTI well before the next big event.

What do the economists think? Will people (especially overseas Pakistanis) be more willing to invest under a different government then an IK government. If he can get inflation under control and the economy growing significantly in the next 18 months he may have a better then likely chance. Also, if judicial reforms are made to speed up ease of getting cases resolved ASAP, that may also help win over voters. If food prices drop significantly, he may also be able to win over voters. He needs to win enough battles to cobble together a successful narrative of what has been accomplished over his tenure. On foreign policy he has convinced a lot of people, but people most think of their wallets and their domestic issues before all else.

I think it'd depend on who came in next. Do I think my investment is safe under PMLN or PPP?

Under PPP Unlikely unless im paying kickbacks, under PMLN - maybe as long as it's not real estate or anything physical.

The big investors backed by foreign govts or those with GoP protection will invest, the SME will wait and see the direction.

Why do all Pir and Pirzada enjoy IK more than democracy?

I have said this before, the biggest mistake he did, when he came to power, not to purge the civil and military bureaucracy with his own men who share his vision and ideas. Hell, even crooks and criminals like Nawaz and Zardari were sharp enough to put their men in every sphere of state to put their agenda in motion.

Running state is not like running charity, ruthless and timely decisions are needed, so things can get done on time.

Looking at his cabinet, the men/women sit around him, how many of them share his idea of "Riyasat-e-Madina"?

As a manager, if your team is not inline, do not share your vision, you are bound to fail, despite all the genuine and pure ideas you might have.

He thinks, he alone is enough. Hallucination I would say.

With non-resident Pak votes and EVM, IK will get two thirds majority InshaAllah under a "caretaker" government...
