Germany however refused. Until now.
Germany thinks the US nuclear deterrence is sufficient. Thing may change soon.

That is the main/only reason why Germany buys the F35 because it needs a new platform for nuclear weapos ... that is the main rule of the Tornados that get replaced with F35

Having French nukes makes sense. Germany only has access to 40 US nukes. That’s too little to deter any nuclear attack. France has 300. Macron will increase the arsenal if he gets money from Germany.
